I decided to revisit this game after who knows how many years. Then I got to this first boss and I was wondering if I was doing something wrong because the guy was taking forever to die. It was a very long and laborious process, without any challenge or spectacle. I was almost certain that there was some correct way to face him and cause more damage. Something related to the sword piece you get as soon as you arrive in this arena. But after watching your video and those of several other people, apparently that's the way it is. 13 minutes, man. This is ridiculous. I've seen multi-phase boss fights with cutscenes in between with much less time than that. I didn't remember enemies being so spongy, either.
