I think the sound has something solemn, majestic about it. Like the soundtrack to a Viking battle. If I had to guess, I would have guessed either Norway or Sweden. That's why I was surprised when I found out that this band is from down under. But OK, why shouldn't there be awesome Black Metal bands in Australia too? A good album that I'm sure I'll be hearing a few more times this winter. Great music! Thanks for uploading! And again an album that I would never have known without BMP!
This band is truly on an upward trajectory. Loved everything they've released so far! After a few more listens this could be a top 10 of the year contender. Definitely my favourite intro of the year.

Listen to the first song, and then listen to Dissection - Maha Kali and tell me that's not very close to the same riff. I'm not gonna tell anyone to stifle themselves, and not draw influence from other bands, but this was so similar, I put one and one together in like 3 minutes upon first listen. It just goes to show how much influence Dissection and Jon Nödveidt continually have on the metal scene. As long as new bands continue to show good taste in older music, i'm here for it.
It means bloody or "of blood", unsure if author from Australia has some slavic roots but his artistic name Krvna Vatra means Blood Fire. At least that's how I understood it, as I'm from Croatia. Really interesting tunes.
