Boots are already on the ground, they just leave the ground for a few seconds longer. Believe me, I hate COD as much as the next guy, I'm a battlefield fanboy, but that "boots on the ground" shit pisses me off because the players are on the ground more than they are in the air. What you want is a COD without that movement system.
ok mr technical. yeah i want boots on the ground all the time. those few seconds in the air completely change the dynamic of the game. its not just being able to jump higher. the wall running is the main thing i hate and the fact that people can flank the map so easily. it ruins the strategy element of map control that was in previous cods.

A competitive shooter is a game thats balanced, skill based and faster paced where playing aggressive is actually beneficial a lot of the time.

- Stop with the ridiculous futurey settings (not as important but still annoying)
- Need to bring back specialist from MW3 and Ghosts at some stage because it was one of the best inclusions to the franchise IMO and alternate between that and PROPER killstreaks!

It is about to be an amazing year for CoD. I shockingly really enjoyed IW and am now very excited, plus MWR is guaranteed a great game. Also as a fellow youtuber(probs trash you dont need to tell me, but you will anyways) being able to make double the content is going to be so much fun

Infinite Warfare graphics is literally 360/ps3-tier graphics. They spent 3 years on this game and they rushed out zombies and cod4 remastered due to the bad rep IW got. Claim they made CoD4 for the fans who want boots on the ground old school gameplay, yet you need to buy special edition of IW, and you cant sell the game later.
I can assure you this game will slowly decline after 1-2 months when people are sick of all the bullshit IW has. You'll get small boost when DLC come out, then it'll die out.
Also specialists or any similar type needs to be removed. It's literally support killstreaks that kills, which people hated in MW3, hence why it was removed in Ghosts.

The problem I have with the new CoDs is that the passion that made the first ones great was lost to corporate greed and exploitation of the consumer in order to make more money.

Morphice The Great Wizard I wasn't a fan of the alpha or beta with titan fall 2, nor did I enjoy the first game either. The whole futuristic theme puts me off really quick, and I don't like how much veritcalilty there is when it comes to the player versus the environment. I'm fine with buildings being scalable either by climbing stairs and ladders or vehicle dropoffs, but being able to boost the player themselves just kills the experience for me.
Kyle Gruber A lot of people enjoyed it after the beta. Apparently the developers listened and fixed all concerns. Since the gameplay is your problem though, buying the game would be the last thing on your mind, which is absolutely fine. If WW is your taste, well you know what to try. So far though, MW Remastered would be the safest bet for you. Let's hope the nostalgia lives up.
Anyways, I hope you find the best game for now. Maybe try some alternatives whilst CoD fixes their mistake.

The CoD community have been saying since Advanced Warfare that we dont like the exo-movement and we want to go back to boots on the ground. They aint listening and that's why the game seems to be in terminal decline.

difference between this and black ops 3 is that black ops 3 is more consistent but there isn't as high of a fun point. IW pisses me off more than blops 3 but achieving a nuke(which I did and made a terrible video lol) was the most fun and rewarding moment in cod I've had since ghosts

They still make plenty a year on their games, so they have no reason to give a shit how shitty it is. Long as they make a lot of money, they'll continue. May run it into the ground, already did, but they'll make the money faster, get it now, instead of allowing more space in between each CoD, making it fresher, and in the long run, making less money, due to them focusing on content and the fun factor compared to just pushing them out.

Bf1 had to add alter a lot from the original war to make the game enjoyable.
Anyway I probably would like the multi-player just how it used to be back in cod 1&2 single bolt weapons, no Attachments and unlocks, weapons which don't have a fire rate of 10000rpm.
But I wouldn't buy it because I could just play cod 2 instead, servers still alive.
Modern Warfare legacy edition with the best maps from all 3 games would be ideal.
CoD makers should be bullied for infinite warfare because they copied their previous game, didn't care for the graphics, didn't care for the traditional campaign story line we asked for, didn't care for the time, setting and style we would have like to have seen which is in the past such as WW1 or 2 and boots on the ground. Clearly they ignored us loyal fans and just wanted to make more money (from supply drops). Therefore they deserve the hate so they might learn in the future. Thank God battlefield listened!

TheCofarrell Not really. It actually did many things right as far as CoD goes: Weapon balance was very good, vertical movement was scaled down in a way that was manageable, and it brought a lot of unique game modes to CoD.

I 100% agree with you, I wish I can be as patient as you and wait for the next call of duty, hoping it will bring that joy and excitement back to me like older call of duties. I quit Cod right after Advance warfare, just watching the black ops 3 multiplayer trailer made me sick. I moved to Destiny, which is quite different, but very enjoyable, moving to destiny I could tell that Cod has started to copy features from different games, for example Specialist are Supers from destiny, destruction environments are from Battlefield and all this jumping crap from other fucking games, but no they didn't stop there, they added wall running and flying robots, WTF is this bullshit. I know they have added Cod4 remastered, but I honestly don't know what COD is anymore.

I think Advanced Warfare was onto something when they introduced the "classic" game modes. Black ops 3 should have done the same thing, one without specialists, one without jetpacks, one without both. Infinite Warfare should introduce the same
