    Southport, Lancashire.
    M/S of three line of four girls in swimsuits and swim hats, marching up the steps away from an open air swimming pool / lido (brass band music on soundtrack). Several people in the pool stand watching. Brief shot of the crowds on the side of the pool, followed by brief section of leader - soundtrack continues.
    Intertitle reads: "And twelve little Diving Girls, Diving off the deep end -".
    Several girls are seen jumping off the diving board and into the pool - some scream as they go in.
    Intertitle reads: "Real water nymphs - (from Liverpool Physical Training College)."
    Several girls do beautiful dives into the water from high boards; the spectators applaud. High angle shot of three girls doing forward rolls in the water before getting out of the pool.
    Intertitle reads: "And this is where Adam got off - ".
    M/S of a man kneeling on the end of the lower diving board as several other men jump over him and into the pool. Cut to another man in the same position; one man jumps over him and into the pool, but the second catches his foot on the kneeling man and knocks him into the pool with him.

    Brilliant, such a shame this is just Ocean Plaza car park now. Glad to say, I enjoyed the fun of this place and jumped off the boards in the 80's before it fell into disrepair. Remember walking around it, before they pulled it down sad pool was empty with just rainwater at the deep end, it was a fantastic place with loads of art deco history.

    They had some bottle. That "deep end" was only about eight feet deep! The top board was always roped off. Now and again an older lad would try to impress his mates and the water would turn red. Happy days.
