    I totally disagree with this woman’s review. I own a Ecosport Titanium X Pack and I thoroughly enjoy driving this car in and around town. Personally, I believe that the Ford Ecosport is one of the best small SUV’s out there.

      Yeah, I think this review was sponsored by Vauxhall or Volkswagen or something. My Mother has this exact car and I’ve even borrowed it for a month when mine was broken. I ended up living this car, it’s not perfect, but it has personally. If you think of this more as a Ford Fiesta Estate with a tall ride height then you’ll be happy.

    What a stupid review of such a great car. I have a fiesta and ecosport and the ecosport has much more rear leg room than a fiesta. The ecosport is a great family car too. I also noticed they didn't point out that once the rear seats are folded down you can lift them up adding even more space. So ignore this review and try this car for yourself.

      I had a Fiesta for years and I recently drove an EcoSport... I must have driven a completely different EcoSport because I cannot agree with almost anything this babe has said. It handles like a Fiesta, the interior is waaaaaaay nicer than the crap that Seat and VW put in cares in the same price range, it is a nice car to live with. And it looks very cool in blue. She recommends skipping this cheap SUV and getting the Duster, but the Duster is not on the same level of quality and creature comforts.

      @@FlorinC1984 I totally disagree regarding the cabin on Seat, I have a 2018 Leon FR and I love the interior particularly the infotainment system, colourful and bright, easy to navigate and snappy. Interior mood lighting is good at night time and it's one of the best looking hatchbacks in its class. Of course this is subjective I suppose but the interior of the new Seat's are far from crap.

Overpriced (27k EUR) mediocre VW crap. Sorry.

    • @Addixxtion
      @Addixxtion Před 5 lety +2

      @@FlorinC1984 well all I can say is my Seat Leon FR is all soft touch no plastic crap, the touchscreen is the best I've ever used (Matt also states in a lot of videos it's one of the best systems in a car of this class) the Ateca is based on the lesser Ibiza so it's their budget SUV (hence the plastics) the Terraco is much better. Anyway, I've got not regrets with the Leon it's does everything I want it to do and I've had zero issues with it so I'm happy. I'm due a change next year so I'll see what's about then but at the moment I've got no reason to change from Seat. Each to their own.

I’ve had so many people coming up to me saying how lovely it is and okay a lot depends on your option of colour and wheels but I think it looks great. Really decent room on the inside and I love the opening of the boot, overall I’m very happy with my new Ecosport. 👍

    I own the ST-Line version of this car. I don’t recognise any of the negatives in this review.
    I bought it precisely because it WASN’T a Juke or a Captur. I like its quirky looks.
    Also;
    1. It DOES NOT lean heavily into corners.
    2. Ride quality is fine.
    3. Peppy engine.
    4. Holds its own on motorways.

    It's roomy and comfy, altho not that spacious. It's quiet and smooth, tho not like a camry. It has decent fuel consumption (we own the diesel) and the 6th gear makes it very enjoyable to drive on the motorway. it has decent acceleration for quickly overtaking slow drivers quickly, altho by no means it's a performance car.
    it's a car that doesnt excel in anything, but does the rest quite good. and for a very good price. If you want a small crossover with great value for money, get this.

I went through two of those before I moved to a Tourneo Courier which I did mostly because the first release of the Ecosport looked dire. When I saw the redesign, I hoped that they would at leat has done something about that useless tail end and that the thing would be at least close to the Fusion. Doesn't look that way and though the Tourneo is more van-like and does appear to share the pulling issues with this Ecosport, it does have a back end that you can access easily which opens UP, not SIDEWAYS. When will the Ford designers get that through their thick skulls?

In the lowest spec with the smallest engine it's probably not a bad little workhorse but it's not a real ford. Even the crash rating is poor. 4 star ? Fiesta gained 5 star in 2008!

    ...Worst 'roads', pavements are 3 stairs high (ground clearance is CRUCIAL) and parking is a nightmare. I'm 6'3 and hate 'falling down' into a car. I prefer 4wd. A Jeep Renegade is bigger, and a Vitara has less ground clearance, so this seems a good choice.

    The car boot is enough to put me off before I even hear anything else. It's no good for trying to get your shopping in if somebody is parked right up your rear in a carpark

    I love how reviewers say it doesn't give you the confidence to overtake on the motorway. But it's BS.
    You need 50 hp for that. Literally. A 50 hp car can do 80 mph and the gaps on the motorway are large and the difference in speed is low. That's assuming you don't go on the motorway and drive 50 mph. In which case you shouldn't be driving.
    You need the confidence to overtake on country roads. Someone going 40 mph and there is some oncoming traffic. The gaps are smaller so you need to get a move on.
    THAT'S why you need power. Not for motorways.

    lol wow it heavy she must never do anything for herself , can not seat 3 across -- name 1 Crossover in this class that can . The reason the back opens the way it does, is that is made to carry a full size spare wheel . It drives the way it does because it was made for BAD roads ; not European BAD but real bad roads . It has more ground clearance and can be bought with 4 wheel drive . So a real SUV .It Not a crossover that is built never to go off road .

    I just don’t understand the Ford Ecosport. To me, it seems like Ford just launched a random SUV just to fill a gap in their car range, but without actually bothering to check whether it was actually good or not. It really bugs me every time I see one of these on the road; bought by people who were too innocent and therefore pushed into buying one by a desperate salesperson. :(

    • @97I30T
      @97I30T Před 6 lety

      Tech OS All the EcoSport is is a model Ford has sold in India for years that they flung into Europe and North America. It was never intended to be sold outside of Asia which is why it doesn't really work for Europe or North America.
