If I were to design opposite Edd I'd make him something like a serious accountant who wears business casual. He is inconsistent but the one thing that stays the same is his goofiness and love for adventures. And I feel like an accountant encapsulates the opposite of that pretty well
people will always use the excuse that the gangs violent so legacy tord being a villain isnt far off but if you look at legacy tord and goulden era tord their 2 completely different characters

Toms design (in original au) just reminds me of how like, people turned him into a "im just a sweet kind character whos very depressed!! Dont mind that im a super fetished version of gay stereotypes!!" This is embarssing to admit but when i first got into eddsworld (and fanfiction) i read on wattpad (i didnt read like only one ship i was like "this works") and mainly read tomtord, and jesus it was so fucking fetishized its crazy to think THATS how the fandom used to be 😭

So there's a lot of things that i want to say about this video, firstly i agree with your points about the original AU, it's really like everyone except Matt is just children and i used to see a lot of fan arts/animations that people took the opposite day versions as children for real but i think both the original and your take on it is fun. Your art looks yummy, it was fun to draw while watching this video and also i love the designs and the more different approach to the au, and i feel like the easiest character to think the opposite of (atleast for me) was Matt, and i thought that it was canon that Matt was a good cook when i was younger myself. I don't really know much about eddswozrld's Opposite Day or that in general, but I think for Tom, a good way to balance his silly and optimistic side is that he'd be more blunt, and sometimes it can come off as rude, tho half of the time he prob wouldn't mean to be rude, he just has the worst ways to word it properly
Great video, but The End is actually pretty faithful to Tord's original character, I recommend watching The Tomee Bear's video on it, it makes a lot of sense.

I think Tord in this au that one guy who doesn't smoke, doesn't play games cuz «maan there's a lot of violence!!! Are you monsters?? Plus you wasting time instead of development.» + he might be vegan and always told his friends why eating animals is bad and why they shouldn't do it(or maybe he's a muslim idk jk). He wants world peace instead of rules the world. He's also a big fan of self development, like waking up at 6 am, jog for 1 hour, reading 3 books in 1 day, etc
I also love your designs, especially Edd. If in original au he looks more British in yours he looks more American so I headcanon they're americans in your version, but Tord still Norwegian(or muslim)

I love the art designs, I do think that the tom design looking like sans was funny- but just in my opinion, in the first design I saw of the opposite au tom was very softie boy like. (Not your art I'm talking about) And he did look kinda like child tom lol but it was still the opposite of tom. I like the personality maybe just not the clothing style. But I think yours is a little bit better! But anyway, both are good I'm not bad mouthing the og design I saw ❤
