The pj walker throw, the Josh Allen 60 yard flat footed bomb to diggs and the Josh Allen 98 touchdown into the wind were the three best throws of the season. Josh's arm talent is just absolutely insane. Herberts arm talent is crazy too. We're definitely going to be blessed with great quarterbacks for years to come

Awesome list Thanks. I've heard that Rodgers actually lifts both feet off of the ground when he throws to lessen the possibility of injuries to his legs. If you slow down to 1/4 speed at the 27:02 mark you can see him doing this. Not a big Rodgers fan but to throw the ball that far while off of the ground is incredible.

Yeah Allen has a cannon! I'm a Broncos fan so am biased, but Elway I feel was way before his time with his arm talent. People talk about Marino a lot and his arm strength, but I think Elway had a bigger arm...looking at highlights.

@@eyesopen5386 Yeah, that's true about Elway. His first couple of years, he had to learn to take it down a notch on some of those throws. He was practically breaking receiver's hands.
The number of times Herbert comes up clutch on 4th downs is ridiculous. The Raiders game last year it felt like he had 3 conversions on the last drive alone.

Reflections:
Allen, Burrow, Mahomes, Herbert: God. It's not just the throws. These guys are intricate. In their timing, precision, placement and knowing how much air is needed. They can make any throw. These fellas are the complete packages.
Hurts, Lawrence, Fields: They need to work on ball placement. Many throws could have been easy TDs if they tweak things. With a couple more years they can be more polished. They have the "wow" factor at times... they just need more refinement.
Geno Smith, Brissett: Holy cow. They have beautiful arches and canons for an arm. These guys are underrated as passers. Sure, they are not world beaters but they can at times be as good as any QB in the NFL. These guys are studs.
Wentz, Prescott, Goff, Mayfield: Their velocity can surprise folks and can sling it around. Incredible arm talent but they are just not as consistent. Some of these guys are just naturally limited by size
Wilson, Brady, Rodgers: They still got it. This is especially impressive given their age
Tagovailoa: His best throws are when (a) the receiver is either wide open because of busted coverage (b) Tyreek just burns everybody. Even then, the receiver had to slow down in 90% of his throws.

Things I learned: dolphins were having a YEAR with Tua in. Mahomes’ arm strength without planting his feet is mind boggling. The future of NFL passing with guys like Josh Allen, Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes is gonna be nuts!

Herbert is Marino like, great talent! Mahomes is good at everything, but Allen is just different, his arm is truly something we’ve not seen, and he’s an exceptional runner, once in a franchise talent
