I Miss Back In The Day In My Town I Grew Up In Kansas. They Would Say The Drivers Car# His Name and What Town He Was From, And What Year And Brand The Cars Were.
My first car was a Pontiac bontivile looking back at it dam that thing was embarrassing large and thank God gas was only about 60 cents a gallon because this car knew how to drink it and if I'm not mistaken cigarettes were about 50 cents a pack
We run Sbc engines due to how easy it is to get parts and they are cheap to build. So I don’t know about all the cars out there but it’s usually around 70 percent are Sbc engines. Then there are a few mopar engines and ls engines. But there are more ls engines every year so by next year I’d say almost half will be running ls engine’s.
I keep thinking that, sooner or later, the boxcar Imperials will be hunted to extinction, yet guys keep finding them, year after year. What kind of price are they bringing nowadays, anyway?
Oh no doubt. Sooner or later the rear wheel drive cars will be extinct in general. Vic's were the last car produced for the rear wheel drive cars and that was in 2011. Old iron probably doesn't have many years left in my opinion right now. Once their gone there gone.
@@GreatLakesThunderMotorsports yeah they made millions of crown Vic town cars ETC. but watch derbies on CZcams at ur local fair or where ever most of the time that’s all u see is fordpanther cars it’s sad one day they will all be gone
Neither have I. Probably the last time you’ll actually see that many in one heat. That was my first time watching imperials going at it and glad that there was 2 dozen of them to see. It was awesome!
Here in NY where I am we used to run imperials but don’t really see them anymore they’ve been all used up. It’s sad wish we could go back and do it over again lol
One of the best destruction Derbies I've seen in a long time
The sound of all those 440 Mopars is glorious
I think most of the engines in this heat are small block chevy engines.
@@daltonjustice01x Probably 360 small block Chrysler engines in the Mopars for the most part I would be willing to bet
Where does everyone find these old cars at? It’s sad to see them go one day we won’t have any at all. All we will have is pictures of them
Impin’ Ain’t Easy

wow, lot of money in there!
I would have put full coverage on mine and tell the agent the next day that a flock of geese ran into me
Minnesota Imperials baby #15 and #38
Pine City!
Brian H and Todd J bought several Imperials from me! Over 20 years. Shane Nebraska
What was that caddy out there for
Not much I like better than watching the decimation of Imps. My Dad gave me one and I learned to hate the gas guzzling land barge.
Dave look at it this way some kids back in the day never had cars to drive around in so you were lucky to have been given a fancy ass imperial
I've wrecked many imperials gotta love the feeling of letting them old birds eat with a pointy bumper out front
My first car was a Pontiac bontivile looking back at it dam that thing was embarrassing large and thank God gas was only about 60 cents a gallon because this car knew how to drink it and if I'm not mistaken cigarettes were about 50 cents a pack
And just think at one time they all rolled off the assembly line brand new many years ago
Track length about right 👍 but 😂 width needs be another ATLEAST 1/2 size wider !!!!! Or double the width
That roll in don’t give you goosebumps you ain’t into derby!
I'd like to know what power plant these guys use. Are they the original 413s or possibly small block Mopar, or generic small block Chevys?????
Odds are 440s.
Most are small block Chevy they run longer and start better hot than most are engines, not all of them run them but most guys do

I just love demolition derbies
Is my color off or are those green flags fluorescent yellow?
They were a little like florescent yellow yes.
Ah hell a little bondo it be good as new
what was that? the demo derby was burning more gas sitting still under red flag over a tire on the track
Nothing better then technology to speed up the video to make it look more interesting
Why soo many at once, kinda pointless?

Run a flat bumper!
Never saw that many imperials in one derby.
Neither have I. Probably the last time you’ll actually see that many in one heat. That was my first time watching imperials going at it and glad that there was 2 dozen of them to see. It was awesome!
Pine city Minnesota.

It would be a better show without the stoppages
Like how theres a FIRE and they all STOP but for other things they dont!!!!
Probably gas burning from the headers. They never stop for that
Track needs STOP calling for red lights so much. So what if there’s a tire on the track or lose bumper. Let boys race
What kind of bs front bumper you all allow now? Lol
🤔 Todays builds n track rules lol
To many red flags fuk let em go dam
What happened to the crown Vic? He didn't last long at all. Came in show boating, Not even Top 20, 😂
Jesus,
No wonder why these are outlawed in many events around the U.S. lol
Yeah if everyone doesn't have one it's not a level playing field
Chrysler was banned in one form or another from just about every motor sport.
Hillbillies
Terrible waste of old cars.
