- If the stress of work, life, and not enough time in the simpit has got you down, I think I've found something a lot safer than a Quaalude to fix you up. Come along for this incredible, and incredibly chill, narrated MSFS tour of Northwest Kansas as we check out Monument Rocks.

Awesome flight through my state. There's some cool landscapes in Kansas when you get off the interstate. Funny that you came across punished woman fork. I've been to another battle site, called the "mulberry scrap". There is a sandstone cave there with petroglyphs carved in the rocks. It's worth reading about. Crazy story, including an army surgeon taking the skulls of the indians and sending them to a museum back east. The white woman's grave you mentioned, the story is some of the first settlers there, there was a lone man who lived near a family. He and the daughter of the family (the white woman) would meet at a nearby dry river bed. They were there one night and there was a flash flood that swept the man away. So she would go back there looking for her lover and she supposedly haunts the area.
Dude! You're filling in ALL the gaps. You're hired!
@@MSFSFlightPlans haha glad I could help. I'm digging your channel. Your aerial tours are a great twist on the sim video.
Jeez that is flat! Cool history though. Cheers Nick ;)
That worked out well. I couldn’t see the rocks very well on my phone but it was cool. I didn’t know anything about the field art - it would’ve been cool to see IRL too. Thanks for doing this!
Rock on!
ohhh it's been a while! just got myself an old i5 4th gen but managed my PC to get going again! oh man how I missed your videos! thank you for always sharing your passion with us. I find it amazing how big, spacious and flat the US is in its terrain. Brazil is really big (not as big as the US) but our terrain is full of slopes and forests, impossible to have such open space for buildings and cropping like what you get there! another great flight with a great plane, thank you!!
I've missed you so much, Dan. I am going to reply to every one of your comments ... starting with this one. This was a cool flight, not only for the random rock pile out in the middle of nowhere, but I always love taking a shot at the most boring sites in the world to see if we can put some lipstick on it. Cool terrain aside, there were enough little pockets of history on this one to keep us busy through the trip.
@@MSFSFlightPlans I've missed you too, Nick! I'll show up on Discord as well tomorrow and check how the community is going and growing healthy! ;)
This was Mighty Fine Flight Thank Youu kindly my best Kansas lol
Thanks, Mr. Coffee!
Enjoyed the flight, Nick. 👍
Glad to hear it!
Cool, who knew, also thought it was all flat wheat fields.
What a pleasant surprise, right?
Nice flight, been some time i have been here. Still doing great videos 👌
Dude! I was wondering where you went! So glad to hear from you again. I've missed you!
@@MSFSFlightPlans i'm flying big jets now and i lost this channel of sight. But glad i'm back now 😉
Oh yeah, I had a big jet phase. I loved it ... and miss it from time to time. Unfortunately, it doesn't pair well with sightseeing. But they are a heck of a lot of fun to fly.
