    I remember the "good ol days" when you walked along beside the trailer and tossed square bales. Round bales have sure saved a lot of backs.

    Dave, I don’t remember whether that little tractor was a 3032E or a 3038e, but I was sure impressed with how well it unloaded those bales. It stacked them fast and neat, too 👍🏻

    I you must have loaded back tires, cause even with 600 pounds of wheel weights my 5075e is really tippy with any weight in the bucket

      No. I do have the wheels widened though. If you still have the wheel base at the factory setting, you wouldn't believe what a difference it makes when you widen the wheel base. Much Safer!!

    Do you have any trouble with the 9.5" wide front tires when you get a big load on your loader? I am getting the 12.4" tires on the front of my 5067E. They started putting the same size tires on the smaller 5E series tractors as they put on the 5090 and 5100E tractors. Should help out on loader work.

      I don't have any any trouble. They will leave ruts sometime... The wider tires would be great!! Plus they look better!!... What I do is, I run too much air in my front tires. If I don't they look flat doing loader work. I just air them up till they don't look flat. Probably about 40psi. Im sure it will wear them out way too fast. I would love to have the wider tires!!! I'm jealous!!!

    I’m just curious what those bails weigh and one ballast you have on that small tractor?

    • @theweekendfarmer7513
      @theweekendfarmer7513  Před rokem

      They're 4x5's so they weigh about 1000lbs. They are right at the break out point for that loader. Some of my hay that tractor won't pick up. Like it might get it off the trailer and down to the ground, but you can't pick it back up and put it on the trailer,lol!! If that makes any sense...It handled these bales good though... I did have the bush hog on the back of the little tractor. Only because I had been doing some bush hogging. I have a 6' bush hog that's almost too much for that tractor.. so I thought hey this might work good. I normally put the tiller on the back of the little tractor if I need ballast.

      I have the 38E. I regret not buying the 6 foot finish mower so I could mow closer to stuff without eating so many tree branches but sometimes in tall grass the five footer drags it down pretty good. I’ve bounced in to a few farmer fields and tried to lift some round bales with my homemade pallet forks which are pretty heavy and my tractor Won’t budge them. I don’t know what they weigh. I have 1000 pound weight I pick up with my loader and a homemade grapple. It will lift it to full height so I can drop it on concrete and break it. So I know it will lift a thousand pounds…

      I regret not buying the 6 foot rotary mower. Not finish mower. It runs my 6 foot finish mower fine.

    Do you know what your bales way?

    • @theweekendfarmer7513

      The settings on the baler is supposed to be a 1000lbs bale. Im going to estimate 800-1000 depending on the type of hay. My heavier bales the 3032 sometimes will not lift. The heavier bales it will not lift them off the ground, but it will lift them off the trailer and bring them down to the ground. The trick to doing that is, you can curl more than you can lift.

    What size bales are those? That 3032 is impressive... I'm watching because of the 5075e... In the market for one... Any complaints?

      Those are 4x5 bales. I had to have the transmission recalibrated in the 5075e recently. It get where the clutch is jerky and just doesn’t shift smooth. That’s the only problem I had in two years. Dealer fixed it. Lot of power for the money!!
