They had the perfect wrestling story at the perfect time. If you wrestled the first match or 2 and Flair vs Dusty was the main event, you were definitely eating well the next day.
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
It's so nice to see someone who acted so hard be so emotional in real life. You can see the genuine sadness about the loss of Dusty Rhodes. You can tell they were really friends.
Watch the Flair/Dusty matches from the 80's - the timing, psychology and technique are next level. Regarding Flair, only the Steamboat matches can compare. Dusty was a legend.
I feel so bad for flair, he was trying his best not to break down. he's watching all his friends go, his road buddies, people he saw as brothers are now gone and I feel so bad for him
I thought of this when that 30 for 30 where he admitted that after his son Reid passed. He drank every day for 2 years trying to drink himself to death. And he's still here and others aren't. He feels guilt, almost the same way I'm sure Scott Hall and Jake Roberts do in a way..
He has always been a great guy..when he was a heel rivalling with sting..He always took time backstage to mingle with the young kids..I was very fortunate to meet him and strike conversations with him and Dusty both..They truly are idols.
Yes he is..As a kid i always hated him as the bad guy but when we grow up to appreciate what they all do he is the very best at what he did. Same with Bobby Heenan. HATED him as a child....He was incredible tho at what he did whether in the ring once in awhile or being manager or announcing.
@@joehackel8087 Agreed. Heenan especially hated him as a child too, he had a way of pissing you off so when you saw him you was just hoping some wrestler would jump him and kick the shit out of him. Bobby knew how to do the heel role very well.
Damn it Ric!! I don't know why I watch these videos when I know I'm gonna' start tearing up. Ric is such a great guy! I hate it when he gets emotional like that. We love you Ric!!
You gotta look at it he seen guys come and go some he was close to and they're no longer here they traveled that long road together and now he's retired all he has now is a lot of memories of those he traveled and wrestled with, it's probably not one minute that goes by where he probably have a lot of flashbacks and breakdown and cry from all those moments and memories of his fallen co wrestlers he once knew! It would be tough at times or even laughable times to keep from crying!
Good man. He has lot of wonderful miles on him live 10 life times . he loves life his family his friends and you And his fans.. Yes he is number one remember Rick on ..AWA.. WE ALL GET OLD BUT HE GOT IT STILL HAS IT ..AND HE IS HAPPY AND HAS A GOOD ❤ HEART ..God bless him and his family. He is happy what he does i Expect to tlhe end.. Respectfuly.. A concerning fan also.
It's tough just surviving the wrestling business. Even when you survive as long as flair has, you see alot of great friends, coworkers, rivals, a whole generation pass away early. Those memories are more valuable than anything you'll ever own at that point.
WOW. Ric Flair really started to get ALL teary eyed when the reporter mentioned the passing of Dusty Rhodes. I guess NAITCH was truly affected by his death more than everyone realized. I assume that they were more than just aquaitances outside of the ring.
The other day I watched a title match between Rhodes and Flair from around the mid 80's and man I tell you what. it was pure artistry from both guys. The flow, the intensity, the pops from the crowd. Pure FN art.
Good old Nature Boy. He gets teary so easily in his later years. That must be the most timid promo he has ever done. Can't see him tearing his jacket off & stomping it into the floor anymore. Keep on going Ric !!!
Flair , Dusty, Sting so many awesome wrestlers that i will always remember they gave their lives and health for us all...God bless you all. You made my childhood and teen years great.
Bless you Ric Flair I too get emotional when we lose greats like Dusty, Roddy, and so many more. Because they've been part of our lives for so long. RIP Superstars miss you all
I remember watching Rick and Dusty many times at the old Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto back in the early 80's, they are both true legends who loved to get in the ring and put on a show which would remain in your memory forever. There will never be two more iconic wrestlers of that era who loved what they did, gave the fans everything they wanted to see and more, and continued a special friendship which would last forever. Rick Flair was the greatest wrestler of all time in my opinion and when you see him here out of character and speaking about Dusty, it really shows what kind of a man Rick is in real life and what a true legend is really made of.
Ric & Dusty they fought, sweat bleed travel all over the States, no matter ,they both gave the fans ,what they want and the love they had for the business . Seeming Ric get emotional about Dusty ,show they were good friends and care for each other . Thank you the memories 🙏
How can you give a thumbs down? Shame on you guys. Flair gave everything for this sport. I applaud his class and for being down to earth in this interview.
Just mention Dusty and wrestlers get teary eyed. I don't think a wrestler has had that kind of impact ever. Truly powerful personality and a man's man. RIP Dusty. we love you.
@@spidermonkey2373 also, few guys told the story in the ring and sold the character like Dusty. Dusty proved you didn't need Bret Hart or Kurt Angle type skill or a Lex Luger body to be immortal. He was everything these mostly homogenized, cookie cutter "sports entertainers" aren't today.
Love Ric Flair watched him since the 1970's that was the wrestling I was raised on!! " To be the Man,You got to beat the Man!! Love, him 17 time Champion!!!
Yes ! I've known about Ric Flair since the early '90's. Very happy to see that he never blew a gasket and croaked, after all those years of yelling and philandering. :'D What a charismatic showman. WOOOOO!!!
You know as a fan, Rick was always playing the bad guy, and like many fans, ok didn't like him, but that's down to Rick's acting, but give him his dues, what a wrestler! Ric Flair is the baddest motherfucker. Through all the showmanship and provocative swagger, he’s a humble, loving guy, who always makes sure to give respect to his peers. Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair.

I looked forward to those programs even though . .. ( we're outta time !) Y'all know what I mean
It's weird how he can't keep his eyes in one place. In terms of his opponents, if he says he loves Dusty, Sting and Steamboat, you gotta respect this man. Those are three beastly opponents.
It had been almost a year since Dusty died, and Flair could still barely speak the man's name without getting choked up. Wow.

You can tell Ric truly loves this business. He is so passionate.
The Nature Boy is a hypocrite because he hated the American Dream with a passion.
