It's a metropolis that manages to be at once tranquil and bustling, traditional and dynamic, and full of history and the future. However, it would be in the city of Cologne that I would discover and be educated in Kölsch. Kölsch is a light, crisp beer that is brewed exclusively in and around Cologne. It's been the city's signature beer since the 1800s and is an integral part of the local culture. In fact, Kölsch is more than just a beer - it's a way of life in Cologne. I'm a Brit ex-pat living on Germany and visit Köln often.Great city.My favourite Brauhäuser are "Früh" and "Gaffel" Great beer and top beer !!

Great Video, thanks for that. You missed one of the youngest breweries in cologne, the "Brauerei Heller". They brew several organic beer including of course Kölsch, Wiess, Pils, Weizen and Bock. I think there is no other organic beer in cologne. The organic ingrediences and caft brew technics gives the beer a unique taste.
Sounds like another reason to return to Cologne! Thank you for watching this trip though! More beer content to come!
