Born on December 3, 1889, in Medinipur, Bengal (now in West Bengal, India), Khudiram Bose joined the revolutionary movement at a young age.
He gained fame for his involvement in the Muzaffarpur conspiracy case, where he and Prafulla Chaki attempted to assassinate Magistrate Kingsford, mistakenly killing two women in the process. Khudiram was arrested and subsequently executed on August 11, 1908, at the age of 18, making him one of the youngest revolutionaries to be hanged by the British.
Khudiram Bose is remembered for his bravery and sacrifice, and he remains an inspirational figure in the history of India's struggle for independence. Numerous institutions and memorials across India honor his memory.
