Been looking for this. The President Lincoln II+ has a very simliar engineering menu and no information is being provided by the manufacturers. On the Lincoln II+, there's a BFO for all modes, and bfo for the other various individual modes as well. We've been changing the Lincoln settings by manually rotating the BFO knob for some, and adjusting the RF Gain knob and hitting the program button for the others. On the Lincoln II+, one has to pay attention to which modes can be displayed while in a menu item, to determine exactly what each menu item affects.
Has anyone else noticed how the S-meter on the AT5555N seems to be "stuck" in a vary narrow range? Mine will very seldom get above S9 even when multiple other listeners located at greater distance from a powerful station are reporting +10, +20 and higher readings. This radio needs a method to calibrate the S-meter. I've been searching for one and still haven't found it.
Hey Joe I have the AnyTone AT-5555N and I had the same question. What I did find was the S-Meter adjustment for SSB and AM/FM are not one the board. They have been replaced with a resistor of unknown value. If I find any more information I will post it here. BTW A big thanks to Nikos for this video...
yes I have the N2.. thats because someone messed up at the factory.. in the settings the range should gradually increase, INSTEAD it decreases after s9! i had to get my Signal generator out to adjust it on both AM/FM and USB LSB.. if you want me to do yours lemme know, but im in Canada, youd have to sip it here. DO NOT TRY AND ADJUST IT WITHOUT A Signal generator!!!!!!! I found this issue when my buddy drove up to my house and the signal was still S9 lol... Anyways with SG its an EZ fix if you know what your doin.

I did a compete reset and I noticed a bit of difference on the TX RF meter... Could it be that this is the last step in tuning before it leaves the factory?? Anyway good found and very handy!!
with the unit off, push and hold MENU and MODE together as you turn on the unit, as soon as the unit turns on then release those two buttons and push left to right one at a time DW RB NB SCAN MEM EMG.. this will take u into service menu BUT the menus are differant they are not the same as this video!!!
How can I get better am results on low keys 2 watts and swing to 5 watts ,high little better 10 watts swing to 20 ,would like low to swing little better ,was gonna turn am mod but figured better ask 1st ,just got it yesterday ,did conversion but that's all

@@mickgatz214 Of course, my pleasure. It accurate enough to show less radiated power coming out of the antenna with a high SWR than the radiated power of a well tuned antenna. On 12 meters, the SWR is just under 2.5. That is not the best but will not destroy the radio. The radiated power shows around 35 to 40 watts. On 11 meters, the SWR is 1.5 to 1 on channel 1 and 1.2 on channel 40. The radiated power is about 50 watts. On 10 meters, 28.4 Mhz to 29.7, the SWR is perfect 1.0. Here I see a wattage of above 60 watts. I guess there is a circuit that takes the output power minus the reflected power and displays the estimated radiated wattage. I really like this radio a lot. Be cautious. Some nations do not want their citizens to have an amateur radio and CB radio combined. These freedom sucking nations pass laws just to micromanage and trap their citizens with fees. Please check with your local radio ministry to determine your rules in your nation.

Τα watt ανεβαίνουν και τρίμερ από μέσα αλλά δεν υπάρχει κανένας λόγος να το κάνεις τα 40 είναι υπεραρκετά, η διάδοση να υπάρχει και τα υπόλοιπα είναι εύκολα
@@tsolbergsx Στο 7900V δεν γίνεται με τον ίδιο τρόπο. Το μόνο που κάνει είναι να γεμίζει η οθόνη κατά το άνοιγμα και στη συνέχεια επανέρχεται εκεί που ήταν!

It has a really good watt meter. I found it to be accurate.
