- hi, this is an updated tutorial on how to use your phone's camera as a webcam in Zoom using only Wifi. However, I finally figured out how to connect it via usb. This is a effective method for usb connection if you want more stable connection during video conferencing or streaming for Zoom, Obs, skype etc. If you want to also learn how to use your phone as a microphone, comment down below.

You area a lifesaver! I'm a teacher and will be teaching virtually very soon. I have a laptop, but prefer to use my desktop, but it doesn't have a webcam. I was this close to buying a $50 cheap webcam when I came across your video. This is so much better than any webcam and it's free. I used my husband old Samsung and I was good to go. I can' thank you enough!

BRILLIANT and many thanks. My Note 10 camera is now a stunning webcam in Zoom for my shows. I used iVcam via USB. Even more thanks for showing how to get rid of the really bothersome echo/feedback.

Brilliant! Thank you so much for this. With no 3.5mm jack on my new phone, I had to come up with a way to use my directional mic plugging into my laptop instead without my video and audio being out of sync and this approach seems to be exactly what I need. Fingers crossed it works!

hello, whenever i connect my phone to the ivcam app via usb cable it connects for like 2 seconds and it disconnects, it was good a few months before tho, it is the same in iriun webcam too
I assume DroidCam made by OBS on playstore?
I've managed to get it to work on wifi, but it keeps disabling usb connection. Great information. Do you know if the ivcam can be installed on an acer chromebook

youre the real og...I was wondering sometimes I get like a "slow down" while recording through OBS. is there anything i can do to rectify this issue?
Try to rescale the output settings to 768x720. We use that in the church and never encountered slow down in streaming and recording.

The only thing that sucks it's that streaming on OBS gives you a continuous "TRIAL VERSION" voice

Excellent video. I wish I found this before I watched another video and bought an adapter. I have lots of USB cables already. I never needed the adapter from the other CZcams video.
I found this after my ivCam was showing a blue hue. Opening and toggling settings help. Too bad I found the result after the recorded meeting was over. Great job
