- People remained stunned by the news of an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. FOX 10's Kenzie Beach joins us after talking with people at Valley churches to learn their reactions.
Background information:
The shooting at former President Donald Trump's rally Saturday is being investigated as an attempted assassination.
One spectator was killed and two others critically injured in the shooting at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump was also wounded but is "fine." In a statement posted to his Truth Social account, he called for unity and resilience as investigations into the shooter and his motives continued.

As a Christian, I bitterly resent religion being used as a political weapon by people who could not quote Jesus if their lives depended on it. When Jesus ordered us to feed the hungry, care for the sick, and give shelter to the homeless, He meant it.

If all of you were also praying for Mr. Pelosi’s recovery, it might go a long way. He was brutally attacked with a hammer and was made fun of. While the former president will recover, Mr. Pelosi continues to undergo several surgeries as a result of his attack. Prayers don’t just go one way.
All of this for a man who will fully recover.

I hear what you’re saying - it seems that Jesus is being used as a political prop. There isn’t one politician, who is godly and righteous just as there isn’t any human being who is 100% godly and righteous. The differences some of us are saved, and some of us aren’t.-i’m a Christian, and I’m voting for Trump, but definitely not because of his so called godliness but because of his policies. One can find video of how scientific methods are conducted, how everything is "proofed" (not in the same sense as mathematical proof). The debate on the existence of God is belonged to metaphysical realm. I don't like people go around and ask "prove me God exists" because they are not ready to understand to the fundamental framework nor have genuine interest in philosophical question but rather an arrogant approach from naturalistic materialism presupposition worldview. Even if God himself show up in front of them, they would still shake their head in disbelief and call it hallucination.

Laws are based on morality which come from God. Our court systems are based on biblical justice. Our founding documents mention God and the ideas therein are mostly based on biblical principles. The supreme court declared this to be a Christian nation.

I saw it for the first time about two weeks ago, so it's still pretty fresh in my mind.
From my perspective, the only difference is that Dinero was shot in the leg by a Mexican, and Trejo's character was blackmailed into doing the shooting, and this kid was probably brainwashed.
But, it happened during a campaign rally for an extreme right-wing politician, very similar to Trump.
It's a hell of a coincidence if you believe in such things...
