I'm joining this damn school in two months time. And being an international student, it's super a thriller of my lifetime. And yeah, Pennsylvania State made this possible through their generous scholarship. I'm a graduate student. Feels cool.

I really love Penn State… so good. The fallout from a number of years ago is still a harsh topic for many alumni. I get it…. it’s still painful in so many ways.

I was accepted in to Penn state doing on line courses, and I happen to view the comment section, first off all the ones making the sick jokes on the pedophile thing , that is nothing to joke about , 2nd just because one person does something bad doesn't mean the whole college is like that, 3rd all the ones saying how college is a rip off, well go walk in off the street to a company like Microsoft with no education except a HS diploma and see how far you get or some CPA firm without a education and see how well that works out for you, so if you want to happy with just being a general labor person then be fine with that but don't come to a comment section to spread negativity because you are miserable with your life and hate to see any one succeed in life!!

I used to take the guys and girls down to the quad with my frisbees. I'd throw them, they'd go in unexpected directions and we'd run that way, too. We got a workout and got physically fit

@@curtismichaelscofield3397 it's a fun school. Very big though, the small fish in a big pond really means something. There's always something to do. I mean ALWAYS, and that makes it even better. That's how the school is, yet it's pricey. I don't really recommend it for undergrad for out-state because of money though.

Penn State UP is a great campus --- but man, those dorms suck!
I did not like U Park; the school's Hazleton Campus was a much better fit for me. I came to the Hazleton site from the Schuylkill site which was not to my liking

+Abh19021 Depending on which degree you're seeking, it may vary regarding the ability to get scholarships. Based on what I've heard, it may be easier to acquire grants and/or scholarships at many other universities in comparison to PSU. If you haven't already, contact Penn State, online or phone. You can also go on their site and request information from them regarding the degrees and areas of study you wish to pursuit.

+Abh19021 I am an international student like you and I just got accepted into Penn State. It is within your capability to be admitted. You need to take the SATs, obviously. Now, I applied for Aerospace Engineering and depending on your major the scores might differ however, an 1800 or 1850 should possibly get you in. You are also going to need to take the SAT Subject Tests (preferrably 3, at least 2.) Scoring about 700 from each of them should also do nicely. I was aiming for much higher but my scores have let me down but still I think I should be able to fit in to their environment and so should you. As Penn State is a state university they do not give out scholarships as easily as private universities. You could apply for financial aid once you are in but I think you first need to worry about being admitted and then about scholarships. Hope this helps you out for your future endeavors.

You can get a head start but what happens if you don't get a chance to. My friend did not get a job and now works at a grocery store. Your online degrees don't mean anything to the people that decide whether you get the job or not. Just don't.
