Especially since the books are about cooking (baking) I mean if you’re not good at it wouldn’t matter who you’re related to no one is going to hire you to make them a cake or buy your book on how to bake a cake. Also Jennifer sister looks nothing like her or sounds like. She barely looks Puerto Rican and with Lopez being a common last name unless she walks around with a sign that says JLo’s little sister you wouldn’t know it was her sister. Plus they said successful not famous so Rupert’s brother would actually have to win races in order to be considered successful. Your brother being Ronald Weasley is not going to win you races.
Well, I bought two of her books and had no clue that she was Sandra's sister until now. For those of us who love baking, we don't care how she got her foot in the door. She's good, that's what matters.

Also include being awarded high profile positions within organizations that normally would have turned their nose up at the person had they not been connected to a celebrity. While most are obviously smart, talented and good looking in their own right and would have been successful by their own merits anyway, I do think some of their "accomplishments" and positions held were definitely gained due to the celebrity sibling connection and influence. As far as Jennifer Lopez's sister, I remember her on VH1 or maybe it was MTV years ago doing a top ten show of some sort. No way she got that spot on her own. And she was just BLAH. I always got the feeling she is jealous of Jennifer who probably did everything she could to help her sister who wanted to be on TV too, has no acting, singing talent so what better way to get and stay in front of the camera then to go the route of reporting. ANYTHING as long as SHE was on TV too. And please don't list her "award winning" career highlights like they are anything of significance and hard earned as a TV journalist in her own right. Also opening and KEEPING OPEN a bakery takes a lot of money. I doubt the sister was going from bank to bank groveling for a small business loan like all of us would have had to do. And of course it's a huge help to have a celebrity and all their celebrity friends endorse your business/products/service. It gets you landed in magazines and spots on talk shows. What ever it is your "selling" can become a huge money making hit overnight if the right celeb is seen wearing it or mentions you do this or that service for them. Like the makeup artist sister. I am sure she is very talented. BUT that world of makeup beauty and fashion is another one that is very very hard to break in to especially to become known as the "go to" makeup artist of the stars so here is another example of the sibling being very talented in their own right but no way would they be where they are if not for the famous family member tooting their horn and then having their celeb friends use her for all their red carpet events too. Now a makeup artist can become a celebrity too and it helps to have your own line of superstar endorsed makeup and skin care too. I saw these simple bracelets that had sayings like "pure love" and "be still" "love" etc. The guy was hammering these out on his coffee table each night in front of the tv after working his regular boring as hell 9 to 5. Some celeb was gifted one, photographed wearing it, all her friends ohhh and ahhh over it and BOOM almost over night the designer became a much in demand sensation and out grew his coffee table and had to rent space and was able to hire 1 or 2 of the local Moms to help with production to keep up with all his celeb orders, jacked his price and is now a very wealthy man. All due to that simple star power connection. Without it, to this day no one would know who the hell he is let alone want one of his bracelets that lets face it, a 3rd grader could make. Plus throw in the animal cruelty free fake leather looking strap that had "real" leather not been so expensive to buy in bulk he would have been making them with it from the get go, but had to go with a cheaper "look like leather" material for the strap which got touted as this wonderful environmentally friendly bracelet as a fluke that of course all the stars want to be seen wearing because it's the trendy buzz worthy thing to do at the moment. Oh and now Jennifer Lopez is coming out with her own line of makeup with over 70 "affordably priced" products with catchy names too. Now last thing we need is ANOTHER celeb line of makeup or skincare, perfume etc. However this stuff is going to make her even more millions just because it's from Jennifer, had it been her sister whose name escapes me at the moment no way would anyone give this stuff a second glance let alone buy it. Just my opinion about all of this star sibling connection and sorry for such a long post!
