I don't want to have Bakugou as Chuuya for some reason. But, this video was detailed and amazing, I love the way you dived into the abuse cycle. Hey y’all, I rlly like this video and these sorts of reactions. I thought it through while watching and wanted to make up an AU.
Basically, in order to have these two very different worlds fit together the basis of both societies needs to have a reason. BSD is all about being morally grey and the world of MHA is distinctively black and white. Let’s just say that quirkless people experience much more disdain and resentment from quirk users. This means that anybody quirkless would’ve had a much harder life. Let’s also go out and say the amount of quirkless is 5% of any population, making them rarer but not quite an enigma. Abilities are a much rarer and stronger version of quirks.
For quirks they developed over time. The body’s are made to handle the persons quirk.
Abilities are supernatural, they have always been a thing. The persons body remains as that of the natural humans and leaves them vulnerable to side effects.
Now, let’s start with the Deku=Dazai AU.
Hero’s are made to believe that quirkless people and those with non fighting quirks are vulnerable and need protecting. This means that Hero’s would’ve been in higher demand and would start training earlier. The events of MHA would occur with the UA entrance exam being when Deku was 12. Yes, they are creating child soldiers. When Deku would’ve been 16 at the end of season six he is instead 14.
After the events of the war or whatever tf is happening, Deku looses his quirk One for All. Imagine it’s a final showdown between Deku and All for One, he looses. Que an escape to the quirkless city, Yokohama.
One suicide attempt later Deku becomes Dazai at the hands of Port Mafia boss Mori. He discovers he was not quirkless but an Ability User.
Deku would go through some changes in personality. He would be smarter, obviously, to be a born genius. He is already less trusting like the rest of quirkless people and he is physically stronger. Not by much, though. With constant suicide attempts and Hero’s bad training he is quick to loose any physical advantage. He would adopt Dazai’s personality and had the same shitty childhood as Dazai, become a mafiosos and eventually a detective.
Now we have successfully created a tragic backstory for Dazai’s already tragic backstory, a reason he is so suicidal (on top of already existing trauma from Mori), a fake identity and a cool AU :)
If you wanna use this at all for fanfic or reaction just give a credit- don’t try and make it up as your own original AU

5:19 Idk why but my mind came up with the reason that deku became dazai in this au is like a betrayed/accused traitor (with no one -that he knows of- believes in him) which led to him spiraling and losing hope idk
That or/and he had amnesia and his lack of memories -but with his most recent intense feeling prominent (Betrayed, Depressed, etc) being the only ones he feels upon trying to think of his lost memories

They gave him missions to pretend to be a hero, let's say that, like with transfers, outside of school he is completely different. He is expelled from school at the age of 17(we don't include manga, it's different au :)) and we already know the rest of the story ;-;
