Tips for making BETTER gameplay -- Geometry Dash

- Today I wanna show you some simple, but really effective tips on gameplay. After playing a few featured levels, I realized that many levels have some unenjoyable parts, or the gameplay was sacrifaced for decoration. So I'll be showcasing the main mistakes that I could find, while talking about some possible solutions! I hope you can learn a thing or two with this video. Enjoy :D

An extra tip for hard levels is to put a tiny break between hard parts for players to register that they beat that part, it makes gp more satisfying. This break is only like 1 second or lower btw.

Tbh I learn from this alot, but Bli created a level called (Change of scene) and I got almost all of the important gameplay , I learn so much from it , I highly recommend it

my rule of thumb for music sync is not every beat has to have a click, but every click has to be on a beat

At the end of my level it was NOT the same as the rest. It was 1 block straight fly. But I’m making a level called the grim reaper.
Ill probably use a few tips in one of my upcoming levels. I know my transitions are already fair, I made and xl level that was rated hard. (Not rated) and the transition gives you about 1.5-3 seconds to react to gamemode change. What I do plan on doing is fast paced gameplay, more even difficulty gameplay, and better sync. Thats all I will need to do in my next level. :)

Variety does not make or break a level. It’s how the chosen assortment of gamemodes, no matter how small it is, is handled.
A tip: If you're bored making your gameplay, it probably means the gameplay itself is boring

I made a level and the Sync is Pratice mode song but is remix the name is Level you can find if you put this id "8,1,5,6,7,1,5,3" this is the id so that video help be alot bc one of the streamers dies and dies in spider part and mini wave so i eill do a better Gameplay thanks for the tips

It's called Adrift. You've probably heard on one of the Map Packs. I think the level was made by TamaN as well
I think slow paced gameplay can be very fun but maybe that's just me
I mean, it can be pretty cool, levels like Acropolis and Lonely Travel, for example, do this really well. But I played some levels (usually easier ones) that almost made me fall asleep lol

Transitions better be good in any level. That isn’t a opinion it’s a fact do you really want a player too die too a stupid transition NO as soon as that happens I would leave the level and say Nah I didn’t know I had too click at this exact frame too not die in a transition on a 7 star 💀

I mean, the difficulty is consistent. Like, there's that damn UFO after the wave, and the ending is also pretty tough. (Maybe I'm a bit biased with this wave part, bc wave is my favorite gamemode lol)
@@KoDTIFF Lmao yeah 40% - 56% and the ending are the parts I died to the most, I play on mobile 60 Hz so wave is by far my least favourite gamemode (especially mini), so maybe I'm a bit biased as well lol
