Smaug was definitely a highlight of the Hobbit trilogy. Videos of Benedict Cumberbatch doing the motion capture are fun to watch. This very dignified person is crawling all over the floor and fully in character--it's awesome! 😄❤🐉
I forgot that he also did motion capture for the performance - incredible!! Did you hear that they are making two more movies on Gollum with Andy Serkis directing and playing Gollum again.
Yes, I heard about the new movies. I have mixed feelings, I love LotR but I would love adaptations of new fictional worlds. I'm glad Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis are involved. I hope they use more practical effects and less CGI. We'll see in a couple of years 🤞🏻

As I was watching the sorting I was think that sure isn't the easiest of puzzles to sort through. Then you stop and say the same thing basically. What I love about Time-Lapses is how it looks like we are just finding pieces and putting them in without any problem. ENjoyed.

I love that image! I’m surprised I hadn’t bought that one yet. I have about 2 dozen 1000 piece magnolia puzzles. Every one I done fit nice and snug. I love love love this brand. My favorite images are the ladies with the big eyes. The puzzle you have is their older boxes, the new boxes are completely different. Non of mine had a resealable bag.
So it is an older puzzle based on the box but still no resealable bags. I wish I remembered who I saw mention that theirs was in a resealable bag. Maybe I have the brand mixed up.
Loved the image, but unfortunately I don't see Magnolia brand puzzles in Czech republic, so maybe I will try this brand in the future :) Great video as always
I believe they are originally from Turkey so it would be nice if you could find them somewhere near to you. Such fun images!
I totally agree with your criticisms--I don't mind if the image on the box is a bit smaller IF the puzzle comes with a poster. But if there's no poster then please utilize the entire front of the box for as big of an image as possible! 😩 And I also would never use that puzzle glue. Don't know what I'd do with it
No one has yet to comment that they have used their glue so I'm not sure how well it works. And we should start a campaign - USE FULL BOX FRONT! hehehe

I love this image. I have the image Books I Read. It didn't have a re-sealable bag. The fit was ok but I had a piece missing. I contacted them, but never heard back.
You never heard back - what a shame! Did you try reaching out to the reseller also?
The Australian NSW competition next month will have a Magnolia puzzle. This will probably be my first Magnolia as I have never seen a Magnolia puzzle in an op shop.

Beautiful puzzle for sure. 💯 I just had a poke around the Puzzles NZ website, which is excellent, but it's a shame they don't ship to Australia... or maybe not as I could have spent a fair few $$$ on there. 😁
I do wish they had more shipping options but that's when things get pricey! They just have such a great variety of brands.
A dragon hoarding books (they looked like books on my laptop screen - were they puzzles?) and doing puzzles. What's not to love? ❤ A while ago I saw a review Jigsaw Jubie did of a Magnolia puzzle. I think she mentioned that the piece feel was different than the usual - it made me wonder how it compared to Art & Fable. Did you notice anything?
Definitely puzzles - it has puzzle written on them and some even have the number of pieces. I didn't feel that the pieces felt the same as the Art & Fable ones. The Magnolia ones did have a nice touch to them but not the waxy feel that I got from the Art & Fable puzzle.

Magnolia's web site is where you'll find the production dates for their puzzles. They have them organized by year. Your puzzle is from 2023 but for some reason I could not find it in their regular catalog and had to search for it.
Out of my 17 Magnolia puzzles ( yes, I have that many ☺), I have found 8 that came in a reusable bag. They are mostly from their early production years, i.e. 2020 and 2021. I can't say for sure about their latest collection but it looks like they reverted to disposable bags.
Oh that's a shame if they actually started out using resealable bags and then went to non-resealable ones. Bummer! 2023 then this puzzle is quite new. Someone else though commented the the box I have is of an older format. I wonder if they have a new box design for 2024.
@@fortheloveofpuzzles Yes, they have changed their box design recently but I did not buy any since that change happened so I don't know what they did for the bags.
I love that Image 😍. I have done one Magnolia puzzle, but I don't remember if the bag was resealable 🤔. The pieces are the same as the brands Penny Puzzle, Sunshine Puzzles, Trevell and I believe also Enjoy. The pieces are amazing, the texture, the variation in shape and the way they fit perfectly and tightly together but are still easy to take apart without damaging them 😁. It really is my favorite puzzle pieces 🥰
Is Enjoy the same brand as Magnolia? For some reason I didn't think they were but Yazz was the same a Magnolia. I could be mistaken though. I'm glad you like the brand so much. I really enjoyed doing this puzzle.
@@fortheloveofpuzzles I don't think they are the same brand, but all those brands I mentioned use the same manufacturer. At least the pieces are exactly the same, and I also believe the boxes are the same size and quality, but with different designs. Some use single use plastic bags, some use resealable, Trevell uses fabric bags, and some come with posters, others do not. But yes, as far as I understand Yazz and Magnolia are the same brand, or owned by the same brand, kind of like how Galison and Mudpuppy are the same. I haven't tried a Yazz puzzle yet though 😊

This is a lovely puzzle! I recently did the Audrey puzzle from Magnolia (artist Romi Lerda) and it so much fun to do and great quality! (And pretty difficult... 😬)

I am a big fan of Magnolia Puzzles. I've never seen them with a resealable bag, but I have a newer one that I hadn't opened. Took a look and no it does not. Maybe they are changing but I've never seen one.
Yazz Puzzles are made by Magnolia and have the same pieces. Yazz is more stock photos and Magnolia is more artist focused. Yazz is slightly cheaper in my world. Love the pieces and both have tons of images that I adore.
