Having PH give a chipping lesson on CZcams is akin to having Lewis Hamilton teach you how to drive. Just the comment of wrists hinging or not is so refreshing, and cuts out so much of the noise of others.
    Thank you!

A great video. Easy and sensible. From all us poor chippers - thanks!

A master class from a master. At least two things no one else mentions. Use the slopes, and interestingly don't go in there trying to use the bounce before strike. Utilise it as a safeguard after strike.

As juniour golfers, we would spend ages messing around on the practice range with our chipping, including "vertical" flop shots. In a round, there would be at least one chip-in between us. Decades later I now have time to play regularly, but that short game skill has left me. I was looking at buying a set of wedges to replace my 30 year old ones, because "it must be these clubs :D". These drills make so much sense. I look forward to putting them into practice.

This is brilliant Paddy, thanks so much for taking the time to share with us recreational golfers. Have really enjoyed your instagram and twitter tips during lockdown and now youtube! If only I could execute these shots the way you do lol!

Thanks Padraig for starting a channel. Really enjoyed the short videos on Twitter/Instagram.
A lot to unpack in the chipping video as it is a wealth of useful information. Look forward to future works.

It's amazing how many video's are complete garbage... Not so with this guy....Padraig is a joy to watch. This video is packed with really good insight from a guy who clearly knows what he is talking about.
    Thank you Padraig...

Thank you Padraig, so generous of you to share your knowledge and instruction with us. You are an amazing player in the very best tradition of the game. Every time I have gone to a tournament where you played I have watched you on the practice tee with great pleasure. It is awesome - almost hypnotic - to see you do your Happy Gilmore routine. Hope you have a great 2021!!

I really like this advice. There is lots of chipping advice out there and a lot promotes using bounce but as Padraig says dont practice to use it, its just there to save you if you hit it bad. That is the way im gona approach it from now on. Thanks Padraig.
