Hi Beng, is the 4 door Mk7.5 Golf R really good. Both either for daily driving or race. Is it worth buying. Whats your take on this.
It does both great. I love the suspension setups on the golfs. It's a hatch, small enough for daily driving and big enough to carry passengers if needed. It definitely has the power and it's an AWD.

You can while on the go. But I wouldn't recommend when going fast.

I think the right comparison would be the Golf R vs. the A35 AMG which is not available yet. The A250 should be compared to the VW GTI. :o)
Price point is about the same though. a250 and golf r
@@bengtures Good point with regards to the price point as a Mercedes will always be more expensive than an equivalently specced VW . I'm very curious to hear how you compare the A35 to the Golf R once you've reviewed it in the future. Thomas from Autogefuhl seems to like it a lot. :o)

how does it feel compare to MX-5 handling fun driving?
Well, for one - power. Golf R is crazy. It's madness. SO MUCH POWER FOR SUCH A SMALL CAR. The MX-5, you know you can push happily and it's not a fast car. Very forgiving. Handling, my nc steering feels more weighted while the golf's steering gets lighter and lighter which is something I am not used to. I guess in essence I would say Golf R is a fun driving car but you have no idea when it would just snap due to the power + awd. Miatas are pushable and if it does snap, it's easy to catch.
I can't wait to get a Golf R :)
