Melt are my fave brand and I’m waiting for this to arrive. I think the best ever black shadow is in the Gemini palette but am excited to try the cream one from this palette. I can kind of see why they did 2 blacks, but can also agree it’s kind of unnecessary, however, I love Melt and find it hard to dislike anything they do!! 🤣🤣 I also love you too! Fave CZcamsr and fave brand is always a bonus for me! 🤩🖤🩶

I Like some of those type of textures in shimmers to use them as a less dry mate look, which is sometimes even better for mature eyelids or to just not having a completely mate look, ti doesn’t really create a dramatic look in texture but the colors can make a dramatic look

I'm ok with 2 blacks. I would even take a third glittery one like the one you shown. Can't call yourself "dark matter" and just be burgundy and brown lol. Anyway, you look amazing as always
I love your videos. Usually I don't leave any comments, because the y-key on my laptop is broken and that's really annoying. But I have to praise you, Missa. Love the quality, totally fell in love with your personality right from the start (about 3 years ago I think) and now your the only content creator in the realm of beauty that does not bore me perpetually. I've learned so much from you, using your tecniques for applying eyeshadow elevated my looks in terms of depth and colour value. A million percent agree about making the cream black a shimmery glitter black, that would have been a game changer for this palette (though I mean I have multiple palettes with that kind of shade, so I could just use that.. but at that price you can’t have wasted shades🤷🏻♀️). I will say, Melt does some amazing sales like every couple months, so if someone wants this absolutely 100% wait for a sale! I am curious if this matte black is the same formula as the black in the Gemini palette because I know that shade is the tits too, people talk about it a lot. Love the smokey look! 🖤

Kind of reminds me of a cut down version of the Tati Palette. It is beautiful and could be very versatile, that brown and burgundy shimmer look very special.
It needs a special light sparkly shade that could be used as a Topper. Which could turn the cream black into a sparkly black.

The cream black is a base, the said when they were makeup artists a black base was needed for some POC to help black from becoming ashy

Melt posted the cream black is so you can do a black smoky eye without fallout. Like you can do your face first and then do your eyes after.

I'd love to see what you'd do look wise with the Melt Gemini2 pallet. I got it recently on big sale , love the colors but I'm not the most skilled in putting looks together with anything except browns.
But I would like to see if the cream blk would alter the shimmers into a suitty way. So cream blk base then the bronze shimmer or red shimmer on top of it. I have a few of the melt single stacks , that poopy yellow brown and the matte red. Very grunge. love it.

One should’ve been a black glitter. More palettes should add a shimmer or glitter black besides a matte black.

My fave girl is back! Definitely won’t get this palette since I have most of these types of shades anyway but I also felt the two blacks were unnecessary, I thought one was gonna be shimmery and when it wasn’t I was just thinking whyyyyy though? 😅🖤

Well, seeing this swatched and in action has me reconsidering my immediate dismissal of this palette. I thought it was nice enough but didn't feel I needed it (still might not NEED it exactly) but some of those shimmers made me quiver a little. Maybe it'll be something I pick up on sale sometime.

I pretty much only like special shimmers these days. Most shimmers in mainstream palettes are useless to me as of late. I'm sure it'll change though.
It’s a beautiful palette but I wouldn’t spend that money 100% agree about the layout it remind me a little of the old dose of colours layout from the Desi and Katie queen of hearts palette remember that one wow that was a beautiful palette!! This Smokey eye is stunning hun hope the date went well ❤

It’s a nice moody palette. Exactly what I like, but then you make everything look good! I did look up the ingredients for this palette and there is a Carmine in one of the shades and at that price point there is no way I could just ignore a shade I can’t use. I have an extreme allergy to Carmine around my eyes😢

I can see the value of the no fallout cream black, for reassurance it wont go everywhere and people might not have something like that in their collection...
I think most people would choose a shadow stick or like a .. gel eyeliner rather than a $60 palette for that but I do get you!

I agree, the 2 Blacks seem redundant. I get that one can be used as a base to make the other one look really intense, but it looks like the matte black does fine on its own. A shimmery black would have been the tits

@@Makemeupmissa It's not exactly the same, but I think you could get very similar results, and I can attest to the fact that I've used it for drag looks and has never let me down!

Love the look and you, but I really don't like this pallette. I don't like the colour story and even though I don't use shimmers that much, I would be annoyed that nearly half the pallette has shimmers like that. Also, my cat always has had a bad stomach with vomiting and hairballs. Any time she stops eating, I boil chicken breasts. Helps get them eating again. Also, do you know what kefir is? One thing I always keep is a tub of powdered elm bark, it's so good if they have vomiting and the shits. It helps with the pains you get from a sore stomach like cramping or acid, and it helps actually soothe their stomach aswell. I mix some in with kefir or cat milk. You can get a good size tub from amazon for about 10-15 quid I think. It lasts for a really, really long time. Well worth having because cats seem to always get stomach issues. My cat loves it as well.
So I took him to the vets today as he was sick 12 overnight as I was sleeping. He has impacted intestines and a wee bit of a high temp. He was given antibiotics & tummy medicine and I’m not to feed him until tomorrow - and she told me to give him nice chicken!!
I’m keeping an eye on him because if he’s sick again I’ve to rush him back x

It happened years ago with some of the original Gemini palettes
I’m almost positive it wasn’t mould in the end but I can’t quite remember
It wasn’t mold in the end it was unstable ingredients reacting with air but it looked like mold. That was years ago and they replaced all palettes that happened with.
I'm still not a huge melt fan lol.

I dont think this palette is worth it :( it has nothing special, I literally was thinking the same thing before you said it. Id rather buy beauty bay. To me, melt is so overrated it kind of annoys me lol. But thats just my opinion
