Four of Wands Upright Best Course of Action: Express your love of others. Acknowledge the good you have in your world. Play. Enjoy. Can indicate a proposal or marriage. Enjoy children or those young at heart.
Four of Wands Reversed: Difficulty appreciating what you do have. Not being sure how to express love. Not trusting love even though it is there. Some people (or you) express love through bickering or other unorthodox methods, so understand that.
Four of Wands Reversed Best Course: Love others even if they are being difficult. Understand that affection or support can come from unexpected places or people. Examine the words you use to express love, respect or affection, consider you may be slightly miscommunicating or muddying your message. Sometimes if you love someone, you have to let them go.
Upright: celebration (feast, gala, party, etc). Reversed is also positive “personal celebration”. Something you’re proud of achieving, but aren’t so quick to share. Consider overcoming a bad habit etc.

Oh Derrick. This has been on my short list for awhile. I keep putting off how to do it because I would need to actually learn how to do it. And then I would need to do it.....which would include WATCHING all my videos. And watching myself, watching videos I've made, I just dislike doing it.
So, someday, when self esteem is super-high, maybe I'll do it.

I have found your series of films on the Tarot extremely helpful unclouded by any dogma. It's just the facts, as it were. However, in my studies on the topic, I have found those who link it to a more spiritual path, which has lead me to Kabbalah, which lead me to Astrology. My pagan friends tell me there are no rules in magic. Take what works for you and leave those things behind that bring nothing to the table. I use 'candle magic' to calm my mind before a reading, and the cards seem to be much more communicative to me. My fellow students seem to be unhappy that there are no 'absolutes'. I was wondering if you might discuss this topic on one of your videos. I know it has the potential to ruffle feathers, but I would love to hear your take on the spiritual side of Tarot.

Hi Madeline! I'm a bit stuck on the 4 of wands. I hope you don't mind I ask your advice. Usually I don't have a problem interpreting this card but this time it's a bit different. Let's say (as an example) I'm doing a spread for myself because I want to know when did "David" realize I am his soulmate? I'm not asking about the Timeline (day or month) but the "realization"? So I ask this question about the WHEN and I get the 4 of wands clarified by the Lovers card. Would "David" experience this realization at a party or a wedding? Maybe when he's moving into a new home? I'm kind of stumped on how to read the 4 of wands in this context if it's clarified by the Lovers card. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your videos!
I usually don't respond for requests to interpret specific readings but since you are using a hypothetical, I'll make a suggestion. My feelings is you are masking your true desire (WHEN?) in an attempt to suss the future/outcome. Suggestion: A new spread with "David" Right Now, the True Reason for his Current State, and your Best Course of Action. The cards seem to indicate a positive relationship already. Hope this helps. I got this as "unforseen obstacle" for this cycle. Hm
Wow. I got "the lovers" for "what must change" this cycle, the wheel for outcome of my intentions this cycle, and Prince of Wanda for my intentions. Whew
And "chariot" was how to "overcome" the obstacle of 4 of Wands. Any help? 6 of cups reversed was pulled as a route to avoid in dealing with the 4 of wands
