Anyone find it a little bit weird that most of these are introducing BBC News 24? Didn’t they just go to Pages from CEEFAX at closedown? There’s a clip of Paint on BBC Two NI from the last closedown of the 2010s ‘2’ revival era introducing News 24 so I guess it’s a regional thing.
I don’t know if it’s still the case nowadays, but BBC TWO NI would occasionally simulcast BBC NEWS after local programming if there was a gap in the schedule before opting into the network feed for early morning programming, the Sign Zone, the Learning Zone, etc.
