Girl you are so blessed. When my baby was born (she’s 14 months now) she cried at the top of her lungs every time I placed her in tummy time and even in the bouncer or swing. She hated being alone. Your baby seems so chill! My baby hated her bassinet and before 3 months was already napping in her crib in her room bc it was the only way I could get her to sleep a little. She was hungry ALL the time and she was formula fed. Every time I increased the amount she wanted even more. Instead of being satisfied she cried and fed more often. To put in into perspective by one month she was drinking 4+ ounces of milk. And she barely made it 3 hours in between feedings. It was so confusing and so so hard. Ah alas, every baby is so different. My baby’s first year was so so challenging I don’t know if I could ever have another lol

Hey I don’t know if this will actually help you, but I was feeling really discouraged with my Bible reading as well. I have a three year old, a one year old and I’m five months pregnant, and I discovered that looking up entire books of the Bible like Romans, or the book of John that were narrated by somebody, and playing it while we ate breakfast or did morning chores was such a good way to hear the word of God and start introducing it to my kids. So far we’ve already gone through three books of the Bible and are working on Psalms now. You’re doing an amazing job. Much love from Michigan

What you were saying in the beginning about having a mix of scheduling and letting baby lead is what I've done so far too! I didn't really realize I was doing it, I kinda just set alarms through the night for the "longest" she can go without eating but if she gets hungry before the alarm that's fine. Then during the day she's a bit more alert so she always gets hungry often and I just feed as she needs! My baby is 1 month only today 💗

I can totally tell that your baby is SO ATTENTIVE. It’s not just because you’re her mom! The way she looks at the camera, idk, I feel like she’s older than she actually is. She is also really strong! And so happy! My little guy hated tummy time, but she seems to be so happy! Lol! My little one was also really attentive & ppl would always comment, but I didn’t really know what they meant. But ya, her focus is so impressive IMO.
These are so helpful! I have an 18 month old and me and my husband want to try for another baby soon. So seeing the dynamic of possibilities is really helpful! Thank you so much.

My first baby was never this happy/content as a newborn. He cried nonstop for the first 10 months of his life. Unless he was nursing or sleeping, he was screaming or crying. I ended up having a mental breakdown about a year after he was born. He has a sensory processing disorder and going anywhere with him is kind of a nightmare even now that he's two, we're still white knuckling every outing. He doesn't like to be touched or kissed. No surprises EVER for him!!!
I pray that my next baby, due in April, is as much of an angel as your little girl. I really feel like I didn't get the experience of motherhood that I wanted the first go around.

Same ages as you (my toddler was born two months after Jace and my newborn was born October 1st) I literally am trying to figure out how to get my toddler and newborn on the same schedule just so I can actually leave the house to run errands 🤣 So I'm looking forward to that video for sure!

My son is 2 months old and wow, we are on survival mode. Last night about 1130pm he went from deep asleep to SCREAMING. Didn’t get him to calm down till about midnight 🥲 then he woke up at 2AM & again at 5AM. Looking forward to the nights he’s sleeping 10-11 hours 🥲
We also co-sleep and he hates being swaddled, need all the prayers I can get 🥲 we’re looking into the nested bean swaddled, praying that’ll help! 🥲

Blippi! Our babies are I believe a few days apart or maybe two weeks my baby boy was due September 21st this my first baby and I can’t get him to go down that early! He goes to bed at 9p and wakes up at 7a eyes still close just needs a little snack 2oz and then goes back to bed until 9a.
the fact that he knows blippi 🤣 just had my second and going back to work im stressing a bit with having two at home my husband stays home as well but we’ll see how long it works out

I really hope I get blessed with a moby wrap off my registry at my baby sprinkle, because rn it’s not in budget . But a lot of mamas swear by it so we may have to fit it in lol. Plus I think it’s one of the cheaper wraps. I love watching your family grow🥰

My babe is so different (or I guess how I handle her). I have never really put her on a schedule, she naps about 45 mins 3-4 times a day. She sleeps just anywhere we are. I don’t think any way is better than the other. It’s just, when you have to schedule around work or other kids, the baby has to fit in there. If you don’t have any other engagements, it’s fine to let the baby lead the way.

Question! My daughter is 11 weeks. And has been sleeping about 10 hours consistently for 2 weeks. I've been pumping before bed and wake up at 5 to pump again. I wake her up around 7. What do you do in regards to pumping when your daughter sleeps that long? I EBF but feel like I need some related 6-7 hours.
