Lackadaisy fandub: Misdemeanor/Revenuer

- First of all, maybe before you watch this video, you should first check out the Pilot episode of Lackadaisy, it was FANSTASTIC, great high quality animation, voice acting, music, sound design, its AWESOME!

Second: this isn't the full pages of Misdemeanor and Revenuer, for a couple reasons, but the biggest one being GO READ THE COMIC!
Both the comic and the pilot episode of Lackadaisy are inspirational for me as a voice actor, and everyone involved in both should be proud of the work they did!
Did a little fandub of this because when I look up this page specifically by name on youtube, didn't see any fandubs of it, so thought I'd give this a go! I may lean more toward the "crazy/manic" type voices, but this was good practice for the more calm and well-kept character, and the run-down rugged type character. I tried to sort of imitate the voice from the official pilot (Valentine Stokes / viewtifulval ) but really, Valentine did a flawless job as Zib.
Anyway, let me know what you think! Feedback and advice is always appreciated! Through this together pretty fast.

You are a really good voice actor! You make a great Virgil and treasury department guy (I forgot his name). I can also hear your voice for Weasel face. Good dub 👍
Oh thanks! Dom Drago (treasury guy) has a great design and it could be very interesting to see more of him in the comic. Virgil definitely has the design that could fit a voice type I can really work with, the crazy, manic psycho is a fun character type, lol. And don't let Wes hear you call him that, "fish" learned the hard way, lol. I may need to try a couple scenes including him as well, he did cross my mind. I think I have an idea, but which style of voice do you think I should lean towards with him? Using the voices I used here as reference.
@@CommanderActaeon Dom Drago that's it! Of course someone with a cool design would have such a cool ass name! As for WEASEL face lol I've always either imagined him with a sort of Joe Pesci type of accent but deeper or a Will Arnett (bojack horseman) Kind of voice, like deep and growly? Scratchy? You know like those voices that vibrate in your ears? I have no real idea what I'm saying but thats kind of the direction I would go for Wes and from what I heard in this video I feel like you could do a good Joe Pesci Arnett Wes. But it's you're video and I'm curious to see what direction you go for Wes. Honestly I would be happy with anything because Wes is Wes. :)

You're a really good Zib! ^^ Dom could have been a bit deeper - I imagine him being a natural authority figure. :)
Dom is definitely a challenging one, I tried to go with a tone of "he's powerful, he's smooth, and he knows it." Definitely something to workshop. I am really looking forward to future pages being released that give us more screen time with Dom Drago. Zib is fun, though that is a type of voice that I have to be careful not to let my "natural" tone crack through. All around, still good practice and a learning experience!

Thanks! Professional voice acting is definitely my goal. One series I've been part of is a Command and Conquer fan animated series on the youtube channel "Direct and Dominate" mainly as a medium tank named Highlander, and a harvester named paycheck, couple other voices here and there on occasion. www.youtube.com/@DirectandDominate . There are some pages I'd like to make fandubs of but would require someone to cover the female voices. someone who could cover Mitzi, Ivy and Serafine for example.
