Dankie Bhuti usize umndeni wami kakhulu😊. You saved my family a lot of money with this "Fix", we have 3 Gas Heaters that were not igniting ! We almost bought a 4th one... Ke a boka. You've gained a "New Subscriber" . Team MZANSI 😊❤
Thanks for the helpful video. I cleaned the nozzle with an ear bud, and used a brush on the thermostat. I also noticed that if I gently raise the control knob (instead of releasing it quickly) that also helps. I just wait for the middle element to start glowing and then slowly release the control knob. If the gas starts running low, just hold it down a bit longer.
Helpful video thanks. What is also often an issue is a new bottle of gas. When you get a new bottle, take it outside and just let of some gas for two seconds or so. Then install it in the heater. I find so often the heater will work fine, I change the bottle and I have an issue. This little trick often solves a multitude of issues for me.
My heater is only about 2 months old, and already it's doing the exact same thing! When I let go of the striker switch, the flame goes off even though there's still gas in the cylinder. Honestly, I'm beginning to hate gas heaters! Good thing I've kept my electric heater. I'd rather deal with the high electricity bill than stressing about whether the gas heater's gonna work or not each time I need to heat up the house. Gas heaters are overrated in my opinion!
He was struggling to get his own heater working in the video too. Which shows this is not a lasting solution. Just imagine having to do that every time you need to light up the heater.
Just wiped mine with a brush and it worked . Thank you bhuti and you not lying these things are even more expensive now R1500
I've warned my mother about buying one from Homechoyce. She went ahead and bought one anyway... and she payed R3 200.00 for it!!!🙆♂️
