I think youâve seen footage from the same concert multiple times. But, yeah thatâs pretty much what Robert wears. The music from this concert at MSG in 1973 was used for a movie the put out called The Song Remains the Same.
Damn! You FEELING Jimmy. I love it! Consider me subbed. Thereâs a term I use âJimmy faceâ itâs the look of sheer amazement one gets when watching Page live and their mind is subsequently blown. He actually dies it to himself in Stairway live MSG 73 (same concert as this). The solo is the greatest 4 minutes in rock history and Jimmy just pours his soul into it, shaking his own head in disbelief of his own greatness! Still gives me chills to this day

Jimmy is 1 of VERY few who can make it talk and sing and cry!! Incredible guitarist and the best band ever
The funny thing about âThe Rain Songâ is that George Harrison from the Beatles once said that although he liked them, Led Zeppelin didnât write any ballads like the Beatles âSomethingâ. Jimmy Page heard this, and wrote the âThe Rain Songâ because of this. I guess it goes to show that you canât tell Jimmy he canât do something, because heâll prove you wrong.

Supposedly rumor has it, the shirt was from a groupie the night before, just as easily been his wifeâs shirt too. Their wives did tour with them sometimes, JPJ was married in 67* Plant married in 68* Bonzo married his high school sweetheart* not sure when Page married, but he was 4 times.

The six string us retuned later in the show by stage hands so that he can play the guitar solo stairway to Heaven on the six string while he plays the opening and the verses on the 12

Thanks for pulling the Led out! Awesome reaction to an incredible set of tunes and performance. I agree. Jimmy is one of the top lead guitarists in rock history. Together that band is # âïž in rock in my book. They just made so many top hits and such a huge variety of which many stand THE test of time.

@@christopherone1my understanding, a lot of the rumors were just that, they may have hung out with some groupies. Page was single for awhile, Iâm sure the roadies got some action. I heard a lot of that was put out to make them seem cooler, & could have just been critics & media. They hated the media, & early on wouldnât give interviews. Did all the women love them, hell yes!

There are some that say jimmy page is sloppy. To me,he is just pushing the envelope so much, trying so many new/different sounds that yeah he may make a mistake here and there. But his style,his sound is just incredible if you ask me. It would be easy to stay with what you know, dont deviate play it the same way every time. You can buy the album and play it at home. who want to go to a show and hear the album. With jimmy and the whole band its you may have heard this song before, but NOT this version. And sadly as talented as jimmy was, he had some demons. You noticed how he sweats, thats the heroin. But still a genius.
He wasn't on heroin yet...and to his credit he got clean in the early 80s
NO MISTAKES IN THIS CONCERT, NONE! Pagey on fire, he's also playing for like 3.5 hours night after night and dancing all over the damn stage. No one plays like Page, the emotion, not to mention the man is gorgeous!
Robert Plant is not Gay.....This is more light Nights of the round table type stuff. Don't mess with tradition
