Aww, thank you. It all depends on how full you want your gathers. I wanted a full gathering. To get mine, I did this: Front of skirt: Waist measurement X 2. Back of skirt: waist measurement X 2. Add a half-inch seam allowance. Length: Measure how long you want your skirt, starting at the waistline. Your Length + 2.5 inches for waist/casing + 1 inch for hem. The tie can be any length you choose. I hope this helps! 🥰
