    Please install a window limiter. And even more children protective gadget on the balcony. There are many sad news reported in China regarding to those high rise residents. I don't really want to say this, but as also being a father of a toddler myself, I am really scared when you opened that window in the master room.

    Hey Matt, great to see your updated condo walk through. It’s so bright & looks like a great place to live, reminds me of vacay at Ocean city Md. (not as high as your building though😁). You guys did a great job decorating. I love IKEA decor & gadgets!!! I know many others commented on the windows probably but as a mama with 6 kiddos I’d be paranoid 24/7 about anyone falling out...heights make me nervous too so I’m not sure if I would be able to walk on balcony 😂. It’s beautiful views but I can imagine clinging to the wall as I walk on balcony. Lol. Happy for you guys!!! Thanks for the update. Things in US....sick of news...and as a business owner we want to get back to work with proper precautions of course but people are starting to have hard time paying bills and they are gonna start losing their businesses if they can’t open soon! Praying this whole quarantine virus stuff ends soon🙏🏻.

    Serious concern about that window in the master bedroom. Should look for one of those "limiters" so it will not swing open more than a few inches for air - there will be multiple kids there and when they play in group they don't think - not that they do much to begin with. Get keyed lock for the playroom too.

    Nice gaff, shadow gap lighting works great and you might be able to adjust the led colour for a more warm or cold type lighting like the light in your daughters room but the settings could be on the lamp/bulb itself. You gave me that funny uneasy feeling when you put the camera out the window 😂 as others have said window restrictors on that to be on the safe side 👍🏻 and you’ll get great sunrise and sunset views that’s for sure.

      That's usually buyer's responsibility to install the safenet measures, that's scary I admit, but developer aren't the one in charge of furnishment. When you buy an apartment in China, your developer will tell you whether furnishment is included or not, if it's included, you usually have to pay extra money for that. Otherwise it's usually buyer's responsibility to find a contractor for furnishment (plenty of them and usually cheaper), so you can have the design and materials you like.

    Awesome update Matt. I loved the hair blown in the wind comment 🤣 Really made me chuckle lol. Hey just wanted to ask... what Drone are you using? Still the Mavic Pro? Are you planning to purchase the new Mavic Air 2 due to be released by DJI on April 27th? Cheers.

    Wow, that window in your master bedroom is really scary. Wonder if it is bette tho build a small protective balcony out there. Or the builder/ architect left it up to all those owners to build their own security steel frames out there.

    Seeing as there is no regulation on high rise windows, how often do kids fall out of these tall buildings? I guess most people would buy an aircon and use that, but fresh air is best. Why screens are not regulation in high rises is a major surprise for me.

    • @Wilhelm8e
      @Wilhelm8e Před 4 lety

      Chinese might wonder why would you jump out of a window of a highrise building?I could still remember we were annoyed by the windows not able to open fully at hotels the first we were in Europe...Guess there is some cultural difference here?

    • @supremacy2040
      @supremacy2040 Před 4 lety

      Fang Ren ... I’m talking children... are you saying kids do not fall out of buildings in China or it doesn’t get reported?

    • @Wilhelm8e
      @Wilhelm8e Před 4 lety

      @@supremacy2040 there are reports of children accidentally fell from balcony...but very rare....Parents may add extra guardings to prevent that or most frequent, Chinese families will change balconies into a winter garden ...It reminds me that I grew up in community of 1500 people, such accidents never happened. Ok, the windows in the apartments were quite high, I could not evren reach the edge of the window until I was 8 or 9... Or maybe the sample base is too small...But you are also right, I do not think there is a clear regulation for that.

    • @supremacy2040
      @supremacy2040 Před 4 lety

      Fang Ren ... ok so the windows are high... many windows in Europe and the west are floor to ceiling or easy to reach. Especially with most people wanting lots of light. So bars or screens even a window lock to make sure the window can’t open too far.

    Another point: In the long run I’d be concerned about locating the washer-dryer combo in a place where electronics can get wet and fail prematurely. Make sure they’re grounded.

  • @notimeforusernames8256

    that balcony railing will give everyone from northern China a heart attack, because of the weather why don't have open balconies, also it is safer for kids. and for plate sizes, you really should travel to northeastern china during winter, that will give perspectives about China. the food, the drinking culture, the people are quite different from the south.

    How do you feel about some states in US are urging to reopen the businesses? I think it’s scary, people are so naive..... they are being so impatient meanwhile the frontline hospital workers are risking their life in saving the Covid-19 patients. The past weekend was warmer.... there are more people are out shopping. I haven’t been taking my boys to the store since mid March when schools shut down.....my husband went into Lowe’s to get light tubes for the kitchen on the past Sunday and it was busy. some people still not wearing a mask. The kids and I waited in the car. And also been seeing more teenagers hanging around in basketball courts, none are wear a mask nor social distancing. 😞
