Gouraud street is a famous street with cafes and bars. There are houses in the French style with the consequences of the crisis and the explosion in the port...
Just like a prayer for peace, wishing everybody Happy Easter celebrations, let only music caress all Lebanon hearts and never let any evil dare to harm you guys Ok? Spring time is about Renaissance spirit we need the most, hanging on things that make life worth living, stay safe everybody out there, cyber supporters like me are always here to backup you guys...hoping everything will turn back to normal life soon
Great video, this shows one section of East Central Beirut Area only, i personally live in West Beirut, in Ras Beirut area, in the famous main Hamra Street to be precise (between LAU & AUB), it's relatively much more crowded in West Beirut area day & night, also in upper section of East Beirut (Achrafieh area), try to make more video walks there, also at the sea side of Manara, Ain Al-Mraiseh & Zaitunay Bay, it's much more crowded there (with a lot of Syrian refugees there currently), especially during Fall, Spring & Summer times when it's not raining...anyway, enjoy your short or long stay in Lebanon ;) \,,/
This is an area with nightclubs, so it's quiet in the mornings. And also literally a couple of blocks away is the port, which had an explosion 2,5 years ago, there are several abandoned buildings since then
@@fenkafas8234 For sure the economic crisis, obviously also affected there is a lot of garbage, graffiti and a couple of buildings are empty. But in the evenings everything works here and is quite crowded. Therefore, I would not say that this area as a whole looks abandoned. In some areas the situation is much worse, in my opinion. And in this area there are a couple of tall buildings that obviously suffered from the explosion..
