    - In this episode of The Perspective, we will look at road network already put-in place, and those under-construction or planning, to improve connectivity of Daulat Beg Oldi Sector with Leh.
    - The analysis will also show how the road network is being done in a manner so that to reduce the risk of the interdiction or destruction by the Chinese.
    - Further, will will see how multiple roads being put in place provide back-up capability if one road axis becomes unavailable.
    - This episode will cover the following road alignments:
    (1) DSDBO Road (Darbuk - Shyok - Daulat Beg Old Road)
    (2) Sasoma - Saser La Road:
    - The alternate alignment being built across the Karakorum Range. And where the government is studying the possibility of building a tunnel under the Saser La pass to give all weather connectivity.
    (3) Depth to DSDBO Road on Depsang Plains:
    - The alignment of DSDBO road has been changed on the Depsang Plains to give it more depth, and keep it as far away as possible from the Chinese claim line.
    (4) Sasser Brangsa - Gapshan - DBO Road:
    - This very critical road extends the DSDBO road further north along the Shyok river, and provided rear entrance towards DBO.
    - This will ensure that in case the DSBO Road within the Murgo gorge to Qizil Langar segment becomes unavailable, the connectivity with Depsang Plains, and DBO sector is not lost.

    This is criminally underrated channel.
    We have many Tom, Dick and Harry making baseless comments on twitter about these topics without actually knowing the basics.
    Thank you so much Sir for making these videos. We get to understand alot with facts and it opens a door for us to read and understand more about this.

    Detailed information on the infra structure. Glad to see that this infra structure alternative is coming up and BRO and the workers are true heroes and need to be be appreciated from the bottom of the heart. Sad that Khangress, Sonia government for 10 years did nothing. I have to politicise this since AK.Antony proudly declared that we didn't develop infra structure since Chinese will use this and come down! Shameful government and a deplorable Raksha Mantri. Our beloved George Fernandes the earlier Raksha Mantri had rightly called the Chinese threat. I guess the Sonia government (It is not an error, it WAS a Sonia govt and not MMS government!) didn't care about the country and was involved instead in all types of scams. Once again thank you BRO, workers and the Perspective channel. You are all the real heroes!

    Excellent summary of our construction activities along the LAC. Just a couple of suggestions. You need to linger a bit longer on the maps for the viewer to get a better understanding of the situation. Further , more animation & better graphics on the map would be definitely more helpful .
    Once again Congratulations Rohit on the endeavour . It's certainly much better , more detailed & layered than what we have going around on social media or even main stream media at the moment.

    Now,I have a question.Sir,during Gal wan confrontation ,I heard (can't remember where I read that,may be in some article ) that the PLA wanted to sever the Siachen glacier from us and to create a corridor for better coordination with Pakistan.I don't know if there is an iota of truth behind this.Sir, can't we set up new army camps in those areas with all sorts of facilities to thwart such a sinister move ?It will also enhance the security of these important roads.
    Please forgive me if my question wastes your valuable time.

    • @ThePerspective123
      @ThePerspective123  Před 2 lety +2

      I remember there was an article on this by Shishir Gupta. Basically, what he was saying that the PLA will take the route in opposite direction from Sasser La pass. That they can go north from confluence of Galwan River and Shyok River, and then turn west to cross the Karakoram Range using Sasser La pass, and reach Sasoma.

    • @soumyadevporiya
      @soumyadevporiya Před rokem +2

      @@ThePerspective123 yes true. actually they tried to cut Indian access to north via Galwan Valley. we need to build more alternatives to reach Galwan. Basically building tunnels and establish firing positions all over the mountain tops with M-777 howitzers, other heavy artillery, surface to air missiles, establish capability there to cause massive landslide on Chinese side, every mountain top should be manned with MPATGM, stinger like missiles to kill helicopters and drones. Then I think Chinese will forget to come via Galwan. we can make grooves in reverse mountain slopes and store heavy equipments, foods etc. establishing multiple parallel defensive lines.

      DSDO Road and its new alignment on Depsang Plains is already operational. They've created a road till Sasser La from Sasoma side. Work I think has begun on Sasser Brangsa to Gapshan and DBO Road.

      Qizil-Langer to Gapshan to DBO route is ready and currently visible in google earth. Also you can see many interconnected firing positions built by India on mountain-tops around DBO to open fire on incoming Chinese from Tian-wendian military base which directly observes DBO. these mountain-top firing positions are built along the Gapshan to DBO section. Clearly visible and many army camps beside the roads.
      the Saser Brngasa to Gapshan is work-in progress

      They still have to hit targets which will not be standing still. As we are learning from the Ukraine conflict, destroying roads and bridges takes days of concentrated fire. They will also be on the receiving end from our artillery.

    Don't worry sir.. China ll extend there claim line ...then our BRO and our services ll again ce with plan to form another road to visit DBO ..and there ll b again extension of claim line by Chinese...then again our services move away and try to find another way to visit DBO.... What a shameful strategy.... Why we don't creat permanent post like siachin on old DBO road or whole DBO road tell ... Army this ur last line to hold. And modern army hav everything to bomb ur roads ..so our new Roads won't be safe...as we think that tose are out of enemies sight. It won't happen. They hav all intel that's why Chinese movie fast and able to surprise us.
