He also went on Ben Shapiro and had a good dialogue with him, Ben Shapiro is very very right wing. Yang is fearless and is really good at changing hearts and minds. I sorta hope he becomes VP then President so we can see more and more of him.

Today, at 61 years young, I became a Yang ganger. I've been following him for a while, and I now think that he is the most authentic candidate in the field. He doesn't think politically, he thinks pragmatically, based on scientific reasoning. He is also a genuine person with lots of heartfelt empathy, and I believe he would never put us in such a position as he would have fixed the Iranian agreement, not pulled out of it. He would not be weak either, but would be very strategic, weighing each decision with well thought out reason. Last, his economic policies are spot on. Obama had the opportunity to bail out "the people" during the financial crisis, and he chose to protect Wall Street instead. I understand Obama's dilemma, but his reasoning brought him back to supporting the power of the large banks, not the small home owner. Had he given the money to the homeowner, as Joe Stiglitz argued, to be put into escrow accounts to pay mortgages, banks would have stayed solvent as the loans would be paid back, but also, millions of homeowners would not have lost their homes, and Republicans would not have won back the house and senate. A major blunder that Yang is wanting to fix. Last, his wife will make a great 1st lady. Vote Yang!

I've never been as interested in a candidate as I am Yang. Just started reading his book and there's no other candidate who has a grasp on where technology is talking our economy.
@@quarryryde Many others argued that as well, but Obama's team would not listen. They were afraid the banks would collapse and the country would go into depression. I argued that putting $100,000 into escrow for every homeowner who had put at least 10% down would have not only saved the economy and banks, but would have relieved much of the financial stresses of the middle class. That would have cost less than half of what it cost to bail out the banks, and that was based on Stiglitz's idea. Obama would have been a hero, instead, he lost the congress.

If you live in a state where you are required to be a Democrat to vote for Yang in the primary, register Democrat. You can vote who you want in the general election and register as a Republican if that’s important to you. Yang is clearly a once in a lifetime candidate and the best choice for the job.

@Sudhir Kakar Yang has done his MATH. He's a smart guy. An introduction of a VAT/GST would generate billions of tax from multinationals who would otherwise be paying no tax. Passing this on would create a trickle up economy, creating jobs hence income tax dollars. It's pretty smart and could work.
When I imagine Yang becoming president, I feel overwhelmed with hope and relief at the positivity and potential he's presenting for the future. That our country could be everything it should be for us, our children and grandchildren. There's nothing more important. I think everyone would vote for him if they just listen to the man speak!

When I look at Andrew, I see one of us. Not a multi-millionaire TV personality, not a politician who values prestige over people. Just another American who wants a new way forward. I think that's what makes him so attractive than others. He's walked in the same shoes we have. I don't care if he's new to politics. He's been exposed to the problems on the ground more than any democrat.

This is the first person I've ever seen run who answers each question honestly and carries himself like a real human being truly invested in the type of public service the constitution had in mind for a president. He reminds me of any one of my friends when we speak about the challenges of this country. He appeals to a lot of people with conservative values and appeals to a lot of people with liberal values. Even if the UBI proposal fails to be implemented, after all of the hundreds of things I've watched on him, I would trust Andrew Yang with my future in the United States. That's something I have a hard time saying about anyone else running.

One of Yang's many goals is to establish Ranked Choice Voting while also enabling more than 2 choices. I encourage you to check it out over on his policy page at his website when you have a few moments. If you're interested after that, check out his other voting reform policies, as they go hand in hand. Even if you ultimately choose not to switch your vote, you can be more informed to bring up said policies to your ideal candidate in the future.

No other president before him have I ever thought of or cared to vote for ofcourse only by process of elimination have I had to vote for one, but no one candidate has ever reached my heart and mind like Andrew yang he is the first person that I would ever want to be president than anyone else.

He has a ton of support from cross over voters, independents like myself, previously disengaged voters, young voters who couldnt vote last election. to be faire that's the Yang channel :) but it's evident when you read the comments on any video about him that the communication gap between moderate liberals and conservatives heals when Yang is around. It's mostly civil discussions instead of the usual partisan insults and trolling.

This interview was awesome. They took him seriously, asked him some genuine questions that allowed him to better explain his platform and policies, and all without this air of dismissal. Andrew Yang is not going to be the president of the United States and he is not going to give anybody $1000/mo to free up their time. However, I do not doubt his intelligence. He will continue to dramatically increase his fortune through this campaign, book deals, speaking fees and other financial opportunities that come his way based off of publicity and being in the spotlight.
