@@vttheary It's really tragic what happened to the Angels over the last twenty years. The 2002 world series team had zero superstars but great chemistry and desire. Then owner Arte Moreno bought in to the idea of signing aging veterans and overpaying for...everything. It's a disaster over there in Anaheim.

The Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon signings will set the franchise back another 7-8 years. Quite possibly the two biggest wastes of money in baseball--and both on the same team.
I somewhat agree with you but they had the option to build around trout they didn’t take advantage… trout is the best baseball player but instead they wasted it
@@Angelsb-ball22 Trout was NEVER the best player in the league. He was just marketed as such. Too many K's, average arm in center. And what happened to all those stolen bases? He was not even the best player on his OWN team.

He hasn't completed a full season in seven years because of one injury after another. And then he has the nerve to question the team's desire to win when he's sitting on the sidelines. His inflated salary alone was the reason why the team could not re-sign a real superstar, Shohei Ohtani. Get real.
