Seeing the late Diane Charlemagne so young and full of life here is bittersweet. But she'll always be remembered for her vocals that elevated Goldie's Timeless into the towering work of Art it remains to this day. R.I.P.
Yes she was young, beautiful and full of life the Diane. She was the best and bittersweet until the end when she was still alive. Her voices lives on, her music, her vocals forever. I'm so right in love with her ❤️
She was a great sweetheart and a great artist. Before she passed away she didn't think about herself only about other people and small sick children

Diane died too soon, was brave to the last, full of heart and never lost hope. I didn't know who she was as a child, but this song and her voice had captivadet me like hardly no other. I come from Germany with my children and one of my former friends rated Diane as a bimbo many years ago.
Today I know that Diane was something special, a gift from heaven. Without this anthem the Key, the Secret, something would be missing in the world. I will never forget what it triggered in me, something wonderful that I can not explain with words. This beautiful gentle soul is now to be accompanied by angels, she will always live on in her music and in the hearts of all who love her. Rest in peace, sweet Diane

1993. l'm 18yo and travelling in Beirut, Lebanon. Was in a dive bar where we were waiting for the electricity to be turned back on as the grid was rationed due to 26yrs of civil war. Approx 11:30pm Thurday night once the power came back and the generators were turned off, this song was the 1st to be played first. 48yo now, and l can still hear and smell the roar of the crowd on that magnificent night. Just like your parents tell you, it truly was a more simpler, decent and proud existence, we used to occupy.

Diane Charlemagne was best known for being the voice of eurodance act Urban Cookie Collective and of drum & bass hits such as Goldie's 'Inner City Life' and 'Kemistry'. She also worked with artists such as Rhythm Masters, Joey Negro and Satoshi Tomiie, and was a part of Moby's live band from 2000 onwards. She died of cancer on 28 October 2015, aged 51.
