I like mozzarella on my steak n cheese. Love the tent and tracker. I think it’s cool you are adding to the channel by exploring! Take care and thank you
Very cool camp. When ocean birds come inland, it's due to the ocean being too rough. We get quite a few here in the Central Valley of CA. My Dad bought a Bronco in the early 1970's, at a So. CA Gas COmpany Auction. I loved driving the darn thing, so did my friends (the boys anyways) My kid brothers got it stuck on some railroad tracks and it was hit by a train. Such a bummer. Have fun, and stay off of any railroad tracks. ' )
Great video and really enjoyed watching you try out some new stuff. Enjoy the Tracker and safe travels!
Your tent looked so cozy. Excellent video. 😊
It was very cozy that night!! I have been wanting to go back there soon! Thanks for watching 🙏😊
What a great spot! Love your little trekker and seeing the wild burros was cool. You do a awesome job filming, editing etc. Love your channel and adventures Larry. Stay safe.
Aww wow thank you for that!! 🙏 I actually have a video posting this evening with me tent camping with the Geo Tracker!
Thank you for watching
Good afternoon from Godley Texas, the GEO Tracker is a great addition to your camping adventures. Great drone footage and photography, along with tunes. Looking forward to more Tracker excursions. Stay safe and happy travels 😎
Cool video, I love tent camping. Thats how I camp with my kids. What a beautiful spot and drone shots! I have driven one of those trackers through the woods they are a fun little unit.
Hey Mandi!! Im glad you liked it!! Its funny how just camping in a tent is somehow better than big fancy RV!! (Sometimes lol) Thanks for watching!
This was a fantastic spot !!! Thanks for sharing. Loved the wild Burros.....how cool.
The weather is cooling back down so I want to go back to that spot soon!! I really enjoyed it there!! Thanks for watching!!
Absolutely !!! Appreciate all your work on sharing these beautiful spots. @@worklessenjoylifemore
Great video Larry. That rust free Tracker would really cost a pretty penny up here in Minnesota. I love the beautiful scenery I this video. Well done!
Love all of your videos! Your so positive and of course adore Mason ♥️
Mason the guard dog reporting for duty! DONKEEES! I have shorts/videos of donkeys on my channel. They belong to my sister and I have the privilege of taking care of them when I house sit for her. The Tracker is going to be a game changer. Can't wait to see where she takes you.
Trackers are awesome, drove one at a past job, they’re like a mini tank!
Great video in a beautiful location, thanks for bringing up along. Tracker already paid for itself! Lol Looking forward to seeing where else it shall lead you.
As always, stay safe out there…..
Hey Mike!! I can't wait for more future adventures with the Tracker and I loving it more and more each day!! Not sure how much more I could down scale after this? hahah Maybe a backpacking adventure haha.
Thanks Mike for watching!
@@worklessenjoylifemore you could down scale to a little red wagon and get a harness for Mason to pull it 😂
@@worklessenjoylifemore it’ll take a long time to get anywhere! Poor lil’ fella has short legs 😂
Great video, we also have a truck camper and a 97 jeep wrangler looks like we will be shopping for a tent this is a great idea for a alternative camping trip. Look forward to more adventures with your tracker. Take care
Very cool! Yeah sometimes its nice to just go back to the basics haha. Hope you have some amazing adventures out theres!! Especially with that Jeep!! I would love a Jeep! Thanks for watching
5th generation Arizonan. Is this Lake Pleasant,,, Mesa boy not Saguaro where I roll into from the back side. Great Rig. Thank You!! for Fire Pit and watching over our dessert and wild lands.
Yes it is! I love Lake Pleasant!! Thank you for watching and commenting
One of my favorite spots, you found it! Little to hot right now. Next month that spot opens up a lot. Lake level will be down end of September. We trying and hit that area up Friday nights. It’s like having the entire lake to yourself.
Right!! It did feel like my own personal lake!! 😂
Thank you for watching & commenting 🤙
The older vehicles seem to hold up a lot better. Wild Burros that was cool.
Always love your videos and look forward to seeing more. I will be getting my teardrop trailer soon and can’t wait to get on the road.
Hey Sonia, Sorry for the late reply. Things have been crazy the last few weeks and im just now getting on here to reply. How soon before you get that tear drop? I love those things!! I had a company reach out to let me borrow one to take camping and make a video for and I wanted to so bad, but that particular tear drop was over $40k!! and I didnt want to be responsible for that if something happened haha.
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
@@worklessenjoylifemore decided to have it delivered, didn’t want to drive to Saint Paul Minnesota as the weather has been to crazy and unpredictable. When I receive it I’ll be going to Arizona to visit with some wonderful friends. The Vistabule is pricey but you can’t beat the craftsmanship and how the company stands behind their product. Stay happy, and I’m so sorry about the loss of you dog, I know and understand your pain.
Great video as always, I saw the video with you and Vic as well, testing the tracker out. I'm in Quartzsite for the next few days and then headed to Sedona area to do some boondocking. I pull a 26 ft cargo trailer/toy hauler and just bought a motorcycle for three reasons, #1 to be able to do some reconnaissance, #2 to just do some riding, and #3 to have something in case my truck breaks down and I'm in the middle of nowhere. I'm excited for all of these new adventures and look forward to more videos from you guys. Thanks
Dang Charles, I started writing you back and I guess I got side tracked and never sent it!! Im sorry about that!! Im guessing by now you have already been to Quartszite and Sedona? How was your trip?
Hopefully Vic and I will meet up again in the future for more videos. Me and Vic had a blast making that video haha. I also plan on doing a few videos with Kenny from "Kenny Of All Trades" channel. Im not sure if you have heard of him but he's a great guy and he has some really good videos!!
Thanks so much for watching and following along with our stories!!
Great video! I love that new setup, you're gonna have so much fun with it!
That's the plan 😆 unfortunately the Tracker is out of commission until I can change the starter and repair the rear suspension. I have the parts but I can’t seem to find the time haha
I so love your GEO tracker . I am going to start camping ⛺️ would love to see Arizona never been there never been out of California I really gotta do it now since I made it and God saved me through death I think I’m going to start camping and doing the things that I enjoy doing and I still love your videos you have a great humor I love your dog it’s me and my dog Timmy .. I so love your life Larry
That's an awesome little 4X4! Great views from that spot too. Thanks Larry.
Thanks Tim!! That had to be one of my favorite spots to camp!! 🤙
I'm so happy with your new addition, I know you'll have a lot of fun and adventures in it. We had a Suzuki Samarii, a little smaller than that. That little thing could go places bigger 4 wheel drives couldn't. We went everywhere in it hunting and fishing. We learned not to worry about the paint, between brush, tree limbs and dings here and there we realized paint wasn't as important as tires, suspension etc.,etc. Good call putting a winch on it, one time needing it and you'll be glad. I'd like to see you install a winch on your truck as well. Mason looked like he was enjoying the adventure as well, funny him barking at the donkeys. So glad to see you both doing well, I enjoy seeing what adventures you find. Stay safe and GOD bless
Thanks Alice!! Yeah I definitely agree about the paint that’s why I’m just going to spray paint it 😂 I can make a vehicle look really good for cheap lol and if I scratch it I can just hit it with more paint 😛.
Mason seemed to enjoy it a lot but he’s still trying to get use to the off roading part lol.
I love those Samurai’s and wish I could find one! I never had a geo tracker on my wish list of vehicles before but. Ow that I have mine I’m obsessed 🤩 lol
I should install a winch on the dually but that winch is going to be pretty expensive so maybe one day when I
CZcams rich hahahaha 😆
First time commenting here. I like watching your videos. You do make them interesting with your own brand of humor. One thing, I know you do a lot of boondock camping, but I am always so amazed that there does not seem many other people in the area. Those places are great! Hard to believe not many others seem to be out enjoying them as well. Maybe that is good for you so you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Hello Vicky!! Thanks so much for commenting!! I really do appreciate it!! Believe it or not yeah it’s usually pretty dead out there unless it’s a weekend. It that’s totally fine with me because I like being out there alone haha.
Wow, another awesome video with such great photos and drone shots! Really looking forward to watching your future adventures and where all you go in your Tracker! It is great watching the progression of your channel.
Hey Rowan!! Im glad you enjoyed it!! I really enjoyed making it!! Unfortunately the Tracker had some mechanical issues on the way back up north after making this video so I hope its nothing too bad!! We will see if it makes it into another video lol
@@worklessenjoylifemore I really hope it is nothing major. There is something really relaxing about camping with the basics in a tent. It would be great to see many more trips with the Tracker! I will keep my fingers crossed that we will see it again in the next video.
Check manual about towing seem to remember having to stop every 200 miles to run engine in drive to let gear oil slinger lubricate to prevent damage.
Hello Gary, yeah I have done a bunch of research to make sure I can tow it and I even printed up the instructions from the owners manual so I wont forget each time I hook it up. Thanks for looking out, and thanks for helping.
Interessante e veramente competente
Do you have to have a permit to camp?...I could watch your drone shots all day....Most Excellent Scenery.....Now thats one sleepy Dog.....hahahahahahaha..............Thanks...................JB.
The only time you need a permit is when you are on state trust land and that permit I think is only like $15 a year. The majority of the state is free public land though.
Larry, I don't know where to start. First, is you truck a 4x4? Seems you could get to these spots if so. Second, pretty cool little 4x4 but isn't it a drag to have to setup your camp once you get there, as opposed to having the camper? I like the idea of towing the Geo behind the camper just to have an expedition vehicle. I've thought about getting an e-bike, or trail bike, or full-fledged enduro to bring with me, just for exploring the area or running into town. My truck camper won't be a leave behind and take the truck to town type thing, so some sort of local transport would be good. And finally, where do you get your background music? It sounds pretty dire, like a soap opera, or funeral. You need something better. I might be able to help with that. Nonetheless (did you know that is actually one word?), another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Lol well yeah my dually is a 4x4 and yes technically I could have driven my dually to that location. The problem is the truck is extremely long which makes a horrible off road vehicle. Also it’s very wide so it probably would scratch my paint with my dually ass end dragging through all the bushes. It’s a very expensive truck and I really don’t want to ruin the truck or have to pay for a diesel mechanic. Finally because it’s a dually rocks tend to get jammed in between the rear two tires and either damage the tires or they fly out at high speeds and damage cars.
The tracker is cheap and easy to fix, plus it’s just fun to be able to beat the crap out of it and not worry. 😂
It did suck to setup a tent, but honestly I currently have my truck camper off for work reasons so it was easier than putting the camper back in haha.😂
Oh and the music isn’t bad. You gotta broaden your musical genre appreciation! I just go in waves with the type of music I like to use in my videos. For whatever reason this “funeral”😆 music is what I’m gravitating towards. Thanks for watching and commenting tho! 🤙
Hey me and you are the same size. how do you like that big blue camping chair you have and what's the name of it?
Honestly, I really like that chair! I just got it on Amazon, and I should have an affiliate link in the description of most of the videos. With the exception of the newest video, which I think I recently removed that link.
My only complaints with that chair are that there’s not really a good cupholder, and if you sit in it for an extended period of time it makes my legs go numb. But that’s after like four or five hours of not moving. 🤣
Where do you keep your coats, clothes etc in such a small camper? Space is always a problem lol
Hey wow sorry sometimes comments slip through the cracks and I dont see them!! Sorry for the slow reply, but as seen in a more recent video I have two RVs so I’m able to store unnecessary items in the larger 5th wheel so my truck camper isn’t so cramped.
So I am in the planning stage of starting my own solo camping hobby. I am very intrigued on your ways of making your camera shots. How did you do the ending to this video with camera tracking you as you pass by? What do you use for your camera equipment?
That’s so awesome to hear!! I actually used my DJI Magic Pro 2 drone to take those shots. It has features to follow vehicles or people.
Mason was on guard. Good boy
