this is in my top 2 songs alongside "Out of Time" because there's an empty environment that gives room for the broken energy to flourish and be shared into the space. there's a sense of desperation that hopefully his hopes and expectations don't get crushed. this song resonated with me heavy but I can understand why it doesn't pack as much of a punch as other tracks on the album.
we're here to experience a work of art and have our own interpretations and opinions about it.
