Love the videos. I am a 2nd generation owner, born and raised in the industry (44 years in the business), and I have seen it all. I own and operate a smaller Midwest operation. Over the years I have worked with large and small paving companies. One thing we all share are the same problems, sales, juggling work load, scheduling, repairs, labor issues and everyday issues that pop up. The only difference is the size of the problem which directly correlates to the size of your business. I seem to notice you and your sons are always on the job. Do you have a sales staff? I would love to see additional videos on your sales and marketing operation and possibly the office operations. Keep up the good work.

I love the videos I’m a teenager and I happen to love equipment my grandfather drives truck for our local paving crew I love it it’s awesome to watch I fix small engines but I love to drive stuff anything my grandpa make hay too and I help him make hay it’s awesome love the vids

II just started to watch and subscribed to your channel. I always loved watching construction, I sat in my classroom back in high school watching the world trade center being built. Is the color of your trucks custom or just factory, we kept our fire trucks shinning all the time, great video's, I'll visit your on-line store.
To prevent sagregation on the mat augers should always be filled up to 3/4s of the augers insted of over filling & close the hopper after each load

Hey question.. do you guy have superdumps over there where you guys are located? Mostly all of our paving jobs here in washington they want the superdumps with 3 drops and a trailing axle (maxle or strong arm) I've owned 2 superdumps and truck and pup we've paved with both but everyone wants the supers because you can legally haul over 25 ton of mix instead of around 15 ton (Here In washington with the same peterbilt 567s you have with 1 drop axle you can only haul 15 legally) thanks and as always your equipment looks top notch and the crew does great work

So how do you get that mix that builds up behind auger out? Or how do you prevent/mix the shadow so guys aren't shoveling butts off all day.
That particular model screed is known for that; it's a nasty screed and difficult to get a nice mat out of it. You only need to see where they mounted the screed pivot point to figure out why. But you guys are doing a nice job inspite of it; look's great seeing a job well lined out. Nice job.

Vogele is the same way. We have the super 2003-3i with the new vf screed and it's great, but the build up behind auger is VERY frustrating
Where does the millings go? Does the plant pay you for the old millings to recycle?
I was wondering is it cheaper for you to haul your own asphalt compared to contracting out?
Hired trucks can be a pain. Having everything in house is a huge reason why our operation is so smooth.
