Opel Tigra B read Car Pass.(security code) Carprog vs Opcom.

There are several ways to obtain the security code if you no longer have a car pass.
Both variants are used easily and quickly without disassembling the ecu.
Opcom is in my opinion much more used because it works much faster and can Scan the Car.
Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten, den Sicherheitscode zu erhalten, wenn Sie keinen Autopass mehr haben.
Beide Varianten sind einfach und schnell zu verwenden, ohne das Steuergerät zu zerlegen.
Opcom wird meiner Meinung nach viel häufiger verwendet, da es viel schneller funktioniert und das Auto scannen kann.

definitely nice to know that you can obtain the code without a dealer. Some insight on the VIN. You can track the point where it was last official serviced. Like what the color of your vehicle was (black). But your point still stance.
A curios question.
What is the cheapest way to get a working opcom with possibility to read a code and with the CAN interface
Not interested in buying from you.
But there are so many people that tell they do not work.
would be nice to know where someone could buy a working one.

can i chiptuning car if i dont have carpass? i have corsa opc/vxr and guys just couldnt tune it, guy from workshop said he was trying with 3 different chiping computers. today i found out about opel carpass and i think mby thats the reason

What year of production is the car?
Let me tell you what I think, I think this person who tried to read your car used clones. Carpass is only necessary if you want to program new keys, not for tuning. Tuning is written in Flash and Carpass is written in Eeprom.
