Persona 3 VS Persona 4 VS Persona 5!
I actually liked the racing game need for speed carbon It was actually a pretty good racing game to play and another open world racing game that I liked was a game called LA rush just look it up because I'm pretty sure some people don't know what it is
But I would like to see a video of top 10 PS2 racing games list
Bully, GTA San Andreas, GTA vice city, Spiderman 2, and MK deception.
gta san andreas
Bully was way ahead of its time. What a masterpiece!
Hulk - ultimate destruction. Was the best. Definitely needs a remake.
It got one, when they made Prototype
@@adamshaw8077 Yeah, you can say Prototype was somewhat of a spiritual successor of that game. If that game ever got a sequel. It would have been just like Prototype.
I still play this for hours on my ps2 slim
Never played it
It was so repetitive..the one that came out previously was the best.. especially because you could change from banner to hulk..ultimate destruction was boring..no real story..no cool boss fights..
0:49 Total Overdose
2:01 Smuggler's Run 2(2001)
3:14 The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (2005)
4:29 SSX 3
5:39 Shadow of the Colossus
6:52 Spiderman 2 (2004)
8:04 Bully (2006)
9:13 The Simpsons: Hit & Run (2003)
10:35 The Getaway (2002)
11:57 GTA Trilogy (VC, SA & GTA3)
Thank you 😊!!
Thank
Thanks bro
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GTA San Andreas made me look forward to the future of open world games. As I got older and played Fallout 3. I want to explore and fallout games make me want to explore.
Mercenaries and scarface should be on this list
Yall forgot "The Mercenaries" that game was an action packed, open world, destructive game
One of my fav ps2 games 👍
Scarface: The world is yours should be there also Pitfall: The lost expedition and Driver Parallel Lines
Godfather also driver 3 and true crime LA an NY as well
Btw Pitfall is amazing game
Bully and Simpson hit and run were the best open world games also the getaway
Simpsons Hit & Run is my favorite open world game.
I feel like ‘Gun’ and the ‘True Crime’ games deserved honourable mentions
Yes also godfather and scarface the world is yours and driver 3
Glad The Getaway is getting the recognition it deserves. The game is a masterpiece
For real! That Game was a big part of my childhood, especially Black Monday
@@justahuglyahhboi9676is the 2nd one better than the first ?
@@JahuulLounge gameplay wise: the 2nd one better. Story wise: the first one better.
We need hit and run 2 and bully 2. Them games were so much fun just to explore.
The Warriors is the TRUE hidden gem. Nothing comes close.
Its not a hidden gem its fairly well known
Not really open world either
Ah Spider-Man 2, that was one of my favorite PS2 games! I still remember getting that from my grandparents like it was yesterday, I just can't remember for my birthday or Christmas.
And it was also my second Spider-Man game I ever played as a kid and I absolutely loved it alot.
My first Spider-Man game was the 2002 movie game on the PS2/Xbox/GameCube.
Also one of my favorites.
@@jeuryrabassa4724 I think that it was also the first that I had ever played!
@@Hillbot98 it was really super fun and it's soundtrack is banging.
@Jeury Rabassa I never finished the first game, but I did the 2nd and loved it! I liked how you could go back to your apartment, and the photography missions for the Daily Bugel and the Pizza Delivery missions were so fun!
@@Hillbot98 ikr.
And I really enjoy web swing around NYC while doing missions, fighting crime or saving civilians.
Those were the good old days.
Transformers the game was elite when it came out. Playing as all of the different autobots and decepticons was brilliant and you could destroy everything in that game. Even the apartment buildings like the hulk.
Spider man 2. Still the best spider man game to date. I remember just grinding those green pop up missions and playing through the story mode countless time.
It is a garbage.Spider Man PS4(2018) is the best spider man game to date
@@osmanemral6092 nope not even close. Spider man 2 was considered the best spider man game. You can tell that 2018 spider man was inspired so much by Spider-Man 2. And I don’t get how you can call it shit when it’s literally on a list for the best Ps2 games. Are u stupid😂
Spiderman ps4 has ended the chat.. no disrespect, as Spiderman 2 is still great. 2018 Spiderman certainly tops it
@@osmanemral6092that makes you sound like a kid
@@osmanemral6092you must be like 15🤣
I MISS SSX 3. I lost HOURS of my summer in 2004 playing that fricken gem.
True crimes streets of LA &New York was classic as well
San Andreas is a masterpiece and a game that defines the PS2 Era
Bully is my favorite PS2 open world game, closely followed by San Andreas and Vice City. My number one wish, as far as video games go, is for Rockstar to make Bully 2. Of course it’s nothing more than a pipe dream at this point.
I've been waiting for Bully 2 for so darn long, i remember playing it on the ps2 and then getting it on the 360 too and on my phone 😂.
The game's one of a kind
@@justinlongg i wanted gta6 so bad but nowadays i would hope they never do it they would ruin it
@@justinlongg what should bully 2 be about where he goes to college or kinda the same thing in bully 1 but just with new characters and new school
I think it’s best for some games just stick with the first games to not make it’s legacy bad
Bully is my favorite PS2 game. in general. i havent played alot of PS2 games but i dont think anything is gonna top Bully. I've played scholarship edition on PC and i thought it was pretty good but it had a few things i didnt like. then i tried the PS2 version and everything i didnt like wasnt there. almost all of the bad, broken and useless content was added on Scholarship edition. the difference between PS2 and scholarship is actually ginormous.
If it was modernised they would probably completely ruin it and fill it with pc
Dang, no love for either of the True Crime games
SSX3 was one of my favorite games back in the day.
So many hours back in the day on that game
ssx tricky
"Open World" was different back then. I consider the "modern" Open World games to start around 2008/2009 (around the time of Grand Theft Auto IV and Assassin's Creed II). The PS3/Xbox 360 generation. "Open World" on the PS2 and original Xbox was different - not overly complex but still fun to just run around in.
Oldschool open world was much better on average imo , I appreciated the rawness of the landscape , things felt more organically atmospheric and mysterious , even Isolated nearly barren areas still somehow felt like they potentially held more meaning than they did , hardware limitations showing through unstable mapping and textures that would shimmer and move on PS1/PS2 gave those games life and made what was mostly filler feel like secrets were held everywhere and gave a greater sense of depth and character. 6th and 5th gen design just felt more unorthodox and organic Instead of streamlined and formulaic to me , the pacing and traversal generally felt slower and clunkier which made progress more satisfyingly earned and gave more of a sense of distance and adventure despite being smaller game worlds. It's the little subtleties that made oldschool open world special , and honestly I'd take that anyday over the perks and features provided by modern open worlds. 9th gen has made me feel burnt out on modern gaming more than ever (outside of rare greatness like Elden Ring) most games today are just too corporate , casualized , and samey for me , and real-life acting/sounding realism does not equal more Immersive , nor does ultra cheap throwback Indies redoing what's already been done better , or the overly cartoony casualized stuff devoid of challenge and depth. That's the beauty of the early 3D 6th and 5th gen era , It captured the perfect uncanny-valley of game design experimentalism and ambition.
@@fawkkyutuu8851 You literally discovered pretty much everyone's memories with San Andreas. And what it felt like when compared to 5.
@@fawkkyutuu8851 That describes perfectly how Shadow of the Colossus felt back then. The whole map felt mysterious (more than it ws intended to be). I remember people spent so much time looking for the 17th colossus and in the process a lot of secrets were found such as the unused colossi, its arenas that were hidden under the final map, the original location of the colossus and much more. Whenever I played SotC back then I felt that something was haunting me or I was about to discover something new even though it was already comfirmed that no 17th colossus existed and there was nothing else hidden in the game.
The only game that has ever felt close to that experience was Bloodborne and it´s thanks to it´s darkness "ugly graphics" and overall clunky feeling.
Thanks for Hulk 😭 nostalgia hits hard 👍❤️
It’s amazing now this 2004 Spider-Man game was the best game of its kind till the 2018 game came out. Great game, even better for its time
You're missing some great open world games like Tru Crime LA and NYC, Driver 3 and Parallel Lines, Scarface, Mercenaries 1 and Destroy All Humans 1&2
Godfather
yes, I demand he redo the list lol and include at least one of the true crimes Driver 3 like certain kids were not able to get the violent video game because of all the backlash in the news of GTA so we had to settle for Driver and true crime scarface and mercenaries 2 game i think
Godfather why does everyone forget godfather it was better then every one u just named including scarface
@@sluttyboy69 i forgot about it 😅
The getaway and the getaway the black Monday were so damn fucking good.
I feel you bro grew up on both games staying up at all hours of the night tryna beat the game good ol days 👍🏽
Love the fact that I can also emulate all these on aethersx2 for android!
Lucky. Doesn’t work on iPhone.😜
is this working good?
@@Snaaake_Beater my galaxy s20 ultra runs ps2 games at 1x-3x resolution with 4x anisotropic filtering
@@Snaaake_Beater it even runs shadow of the collosus too, aethersx2 makes damon ps2 completely obsolete
@@Youraveragegamer_97 i love shadow so much. my fav game ever
No Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction?!?!?!
That’s what I’m saying! That game was ahead of it’s time even if it’s glitchy
golden age of gaming when games are super fun
You are just old
I liked True Crime: NYC's world. You had a plethora of guns and cars to own and mod, the police roleplay was varied enough, lots of enterable buildings and whatnot. Neat game.
GTA LCS is my favorite game in the series, Toni Cipriani is a legend!
Bully is very popular but I would still say it’s underrated.
I had Bully and Spider-Man 2. Such great games
No scarface in this list is a robbery
Mercenaries Playground of Destruction was fun as hell
Can’t beat Bullworth academy
This video missed out on the Tony Hawk games that came out on the PS2, they were all great games !
Where's Destroy All Humans 2?! That game gave you 5 open-world environments to play in and several unique gameplay features.
Total Overdose still my favorite game ever
Yes total over dose.....one of the games that really gave one hell of a game to play 💯💯
💯% GTA: San Andreas, I really loved that game on PlayStation 2 ❤️
How can Jak and Daxter not be included in this list?
I don't know. I agree with you Jak and Daxter should have been included.
Agreed. And Destroy All Humans should of made this list
Driver Parallel Lines is one of the most underrated game in history! It is far better than GTA 3 and Vice City but no one even talks about it. So sad how much of an impact Driv3r caused.
The getaway 2002i played a little because it was a demo version on ps2
Vice city forever!
Spider-Man final boss fight against the Green Goblin was so epic ❤
Criminal we haven't got a new Bully game, It was so so good.
Spider man 2 hands down the best spider man game in the ps2 era you could go and take pictures as side missions it was amazing
I think that Gun deserves to be on this list. Such an amazing and yet very underated game.
Yeah it was better then red dead revolver.
Got my ps2 slim waiting on some things I’m excited to mess with it again aha
What about Scarface the world is yours that was an amazing open world game
Spider-Man 2 was way ahead of its time
I was a sucker for the Jak trilogy. Loved it so much I made sure to 100% every save slot
Hey! I was looking for a list of open world ps2 game suggestions yesterday
The Getaway was my first PS2 game and I didn't figure out that the lights on the back of the car dictated where you had to go!
Persona 3 VS Persona 4 VS Persona 5!
Put sooo many hours on SSX 3 and maxed out all the characters. Too much fun, needs a remake honestly
The Getaway was such a legendary game.
Best CZcamsr EVER he said Pokémon cafe remix love that game their is soooo many events
All on this list that haven't been remade yet need to be remade asap.
The Simpsons Hit & Run NEEDS a remaster!!!
I played king kong on ps2 at that time it felt like playing a ps4 game
I picked that game up for dirt cheap on the original Xbox, so underrated
Another great open world game that not a lot of people know about is Driver parallel lines
Hulk ultimate destruction was so good
thanks, I didn't know Smuggler's Run 2
Gun was a great open world game on the PS2 as well
Total Overdose definitely deserves a remake
Scarface the world is yours deserves to be on this list
My memory With The incredible Hulk 🥺
I Have Been restored My old ps2 and playing games, ps2 was My first ever console ive played since I was a Kid, i Want try open world games like shadow of Colossus and GTA san Andreas. 😆
GUN- the og red dead redemption.
The non-politically correct Red Dead too.
I didn't care for the controls in Shadow of the Collosus. But dude, playing that when it was new? Holy hell man! Those graphics blew me away! I mean, right off the bat it looks like an early ps3 game! If the controls were slightly bettter that game would be a solid 10! 🤘
I can only hope that Bully 2 will ever happen. Rockstar would make the gaming community explode if they actually released it, they just aren’t the same studio without Dan.
I feel like Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction and Ultimate Spider-Man deserve mentions as well....
also we need another SSX like SSX 3....and I still want Nintendo to make a new 1080 along the same lines ( open world, tight controls, insane tricks... )
shadow of the colossus is pure art.
Agreed so was ICO , which actually directly Influenced Miyazaki Into making Dark Souls. In 2001 ICO was the game that proved games were or could be art to me ,
and both are still magical and timelesss. SOTC Is probably In my all time top 10
and ICO Is a classic.
This give soo much nostalgia, made me sad 😢
Mercenaries 2 should definitely have been on here! All time classic.
Tony hawks underground, gta, bully, spiderman 2, and just cause
Nowadays, it seems like the 2000s were too good to be true.
...
I think it's time for a new golden age.
I do miss the old movie tie in games :(
U guys remember the ps2 game narco or narc where you played as a undercover cop gameplay was choppy but the concept was pretty cool
They brought bac some memories with this one
My best open worlds, Gun and Godfather and GTS
Cant bring up a Spiderman game without saying it "really makes you FEEL like spiderman!"
I really want a new Simpsons hit and run game though not as race based as the first one, the best part of the game was being able to explore all of springfield and run around collecting coins and finding all the show episode areas, but still would love a new one!! :D
jak and daxter is my favorite open world game
Good old days ♥️
Finally someone mentioned total overdose. I don't care if it's look like gta the experience it gives is so different
I played hulk ultimate destruction for hours as a kid
bully , san andreas i still play them till this moment and total overdose defenitely needs a remaster, the game that i really want it to be remastered is the godfather
I remember the good ol' days when Rockstar made all kinds of fun games unlike now where they only make games for only 2 or 3 franchises at most just be cause they know it will sell well.
RIP Sonny Forelli.
San Andreas looks amazing in HD.
San Andreas has aged horribly 🤣 The whole PS2 trilogy has. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. And this is coming from a huge GTA fan.
total overdose and bully were amazing
good video
I completely forgot about smugglers run. That game was fun as hell. SSX was sick I remember having that snowboard with the game. Simpsons hit & run was amazing but god were some of those challenges hard.
San andreas, Bully, Oblivion, Spiderman, Vice city, Scarface, God Farther, Gun, Simpsons hit and Run The get away and Mafia 1.
How in the heck was Mercenaries not on on this list?!?!?
