@@star80doessdastuff 16 ram now has to be the average RAM, anything under it is not good, 16 ram is the perfect ram ammount, if you want more multitasking or more apps open then you should use 32 gigs of ram

It's just a riser, so I don't think it would have any effect on the latency or data throughput
You would need to use an adapter with a really long cable to have any real effect

What do you think happens? Poor thermal conductivity leads to increased CPU temperatures, a sticky motherboard and possibly short circuits due to oveflowing syrup. Are you expecting something interesting?

@@potpan606Cooling fans provide airflow to the heatsink, not the actual piece of hardware. Cooling a microchip directly by blowing air on it wouldn't be smart.
@@izaruburs9389 The gpu cooler's heatsink isn't contacting the ram at all either, so this point you're making about direct airflow vs contact with a heatsink that has airflow on it is completely irrelevant because there is no contact with the heatsink either.
...and it doesn't even cool the RAM. Amazing.
