True! Ameen Yarabbal Alameen
This series has a big role in changing my outlook about dunya.
I'm a softer person now.
Now we just need a new winter reading list from our dear sheikh
I'd be super happy!!
This series is of paramount importance. Much respect for Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad!
May endless blessings be upon the Mother of the Faithful (A.S) and may dust be cast in the faces of those who foulmouth the beloved of The Greatest Beloved ﷺ.
I've never heard alayhis salam used for lady Aisha by either sunni or shi'i muslims I've only ever heard radiyallahu anha.
Lots of ❤ from Kerala, south 🇮🇳
Sheikh's description of pre-Islamic tribalism in Arabia sounds very similar to modern day nationalism: border defined, visa requiring states. He said you needed allegiance to a tribe to survive. Now you need allegiance to a state and have documentation to be "legitimate" in a country to survive. We have people who are "Stateless" and have to live in limbo, their rights to find work or start a business in questions. They are unable to travel, etc.
Yeah really good and interesting observation.
As-Salam alaikum, Masha allah, shiekh abdul-hakim murad. Ibrahim from Nigeria 🇳🇬

May Allah bless you Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad. Thank you from Switzerland.
Alhamdulilaahi for scholars like Shaykh Abdal Hakim, it was a great blessing to sit in your presence and listen to your talk at Arizona State University, Arizona a few months ago.
We pray Allah to continually bless you with a sound state of health and long life.
Thank you for being a pride for the ummah ❤
Alhamdulillah for the 1st contemporary Muslim speaker who emphasizes the problem of early Arabian tribalism which was the most powerful and influential factor in those days. It is in every single sect today and they don't even know it. I hope Mr. Abdal Hakim Murad keeps on addressing this tribalism. Whenever Muslim preachers, Shaykhs, professors and doctors speak about early days of Islam they leave out the big issue of tribalism as if it didn't exist. It existed and it went into much of the Hadith forgings. And that Tribalism is NOT Islam.
Assalamu alaikum most respected Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad. I pray you are well insha'allah. Jazakallah Khairan for your outstanding contribution to the Ummah. We are so incredibly gifted to be able to learn from your blessed knowledge, wisdom and guidance. I pray I get to visit the Cambridge Muslim College in person insha'allah. Al-Harith Ibn Qays (radiyAllahu'anhu):
"When intending to do something good, do not delay it until tomorrow. When involved in something to do with the hereafter, keep yourself involved as long as you can. When involved in some worldly matter, put your mind to it (so as to get it done). And if you are praying and Shaytan whispers, ‘You are showing off,’ then make your prayer even longer."
(Ibn Al-Mubârak in Al-Zuhd wa Al-Rqaiq 1/126)

thank you
May God continue to bless our marriages and the Shayk’s…
I thought you wouldnt continue the series, but if you will I highly recommend you to work on the life of the founder of highly influential tariqa in ottoman empire and later turkey, said nursi. his life had a lot of jihad against various threats to iman and ummah at that time. in jihad, I mean both physical spiritual, and even academical variants of that.
Such a beautiful teacher. May Allah bless you with good health Shaik Sahib
جزاك الله خيرا

It is important to realize that there was no pre Islamic time, but that there was a time of increasing ignorance.
It is important to realize that religion is beyond culture and types in those cultures, but is applicable to them.
Can someone please list English Sunni biographies on Aisha RA, and other mothers of the ummah plus sahabiyat? It's impossible to find anything other than a basic children's book on these female role models! Most of the thicker and detailed books are from shi'a accounts and I'm not sure what sources they use to write those.
As erudite as ever. As an aside: Great to see Abbas Al-Akkad mentioned here.
Are there rugs or carpets in this room? The dust maybe causing Shaykh's coughing.
Nice to see you back after a long time Shaykh! Love to hear you on the atrocities in Palestine
Giant ❤
The not inventing distinctions between prophets is an almost universal lesson, but to not use discrimination between them being extended to their alleged followers is of little value as a maxim.
Dividing over one's favorite people of different fields after Prophet Muhammad died or political and sectarian opinions about the community formed after his death are not productive, either.
The different material and psychological conditions of the people enabled different lessons for us.
It is important to look at more than accounting details, in that.

In my understanding and studying of Seerah,
I think, The last Prophet (may peace be upon him) first wife Khadija (mpbuh) was the actual soulmate than any others.
Here are important facts:
1. They (mpbut) felt love in each other
2. Until her (mpbuh) death, The prophet (mpbuh) did not have any other woman , neither had any sort of relationship and almost 0% scandals
3. Their (mpbut) daughter Fateema (mpbuh) was another greatest woman in Islam
4. Even long after Khadija (mpbuh) death , The Prophet (mpbuh) couldn’t forget her (mpbuh) beloved memory as He (mpbuh) was overwhelmed of talking about her (mpbuh )with her sister , according to a Hadith.
5. Even a calm person like Him (mpbuh), In reply of a comment about Khadija (mpbuh) after death, from his (mpbuh) another wife Aisha (mpbuh) , The Prophet (mpbuh) became angry/not happy.
6. During Khadija (mpbuh) time, Islam faced the most toughest time ever.
7. Meeraj itself happened right after khajida (mpbuh) death as The prophet (mpbuh) was really broken by heart.
Comment: its actually obligatory to respect every single one of his wives (mpbut) as per Quranic verse, Undoubtedly they (mpbut) all motherly figures to anyone.
Related to myself: I personally, Don’t feel anything similar for my Ex as I think, Im waiting for my real one to come off inshaAllah, as I don’t think, First partner will always be the right choice for every human,
Rather, Prophet Jesus (mpbuh) also touched another example of being Single of his (mpbuh) lifetime,
However, multiple patterns are there, So we can’t just be fixed on any particular pattern but to seek the opportunity for right person in life. 🫶
The story of marriage of Yusuf (AS) to wife of Aziz is not founded-in Quran or Hadith.
Both As-Suyûtî and Ibn al-Qayyim say that Yusuf (as) married Zulîkhah (Aziz's wife) probably according to narratives in the "isrâ'iliyyât". Therefore, you can't tell it's not founded since many Muslim scholars did use and refer to those foreign narratives in their Tafâsîr. Are you more knowledgeable than Imam as-Suyûtî? Are you more knowledgeable than Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah? Of course not.
Yeah. Also I felt he deserve much better
This is not a requirement to mention it. Many stories about previous prophets are not traced back to Allah and His Messenger, yet nevertheless the scholars of tafsir mention them either to flesh out the Quranic narrative or to present a spiritual teaching through a story linked back to Bani Israel (israeliyyat). Our books of tafsir would be much thinner, and perhaps much less beneficial, without these stories and extra-proohetic narrations.
He said “in Nizami’s account.”
🎉
Syafakallah
can you help me explain why qarun is rich man Sir i mean make a video about it ??????
Excellent lecture
