Great useful advice. I just bought a minivan, and had a mechanic check these items after I bought it. Luckily the van passed the test. 😊.
Kevin Good Info. Ive done that several times before I bought my Vehicles, since my 2 older brothers have been back yard Mechanics long time. My 1 brother Restores older vehicles for his hobby, so they have taught me well how to do oil changes tune-ups etc!
Great tips, Kevin. Gotta pay attention to the oil, for sure. I always carry a spare bottle of oil in my vehicles. An ounce of prevention...
I do all this and more before the test drive, then I have sales person start up the car while I'm looking at the tailpipe, for white smoke on a cold start. then I have them drive the car while I'm the passenger a few miles away so I can concentrate on the sounds and such of the car..........I'll take it on the highway and back to the start. don't forget the tires dating.

The air bubble thing is not necessarily true it could mean that the vehicles cooling system wasn't purched of air when they last did a radiator flush

What disturbs me is the tubular exhaust headers. No vehicle manufactured in the last twenty years has inefficient exhaust.
