Stayed there Oct23 in the Deluxe room. The service was great . The bed very comfy & the room was clean. I enjoyed the breakfast there. The location is great with easy access to the BTS & the MRT with a 7/11 across the road & Terminal 21 about 100 or so mtrs away. Thanks for sharing BC.
Thanks for you input, Phil. Think you've summed it up nicely there. And the 7 eleven being so close is definitely another plus point. Seems to be open 24 hours. Cheers!
The external lights were nice, but it seems that they went too far with the internal lighting. Pink? You liked this? The breakfast ordered at least looked good. Overall, not bad at all. Thanks for the review.
Thanks, David. I thought the internal lighting looked pretty trendy tbh! But then again, almost every youtube studio seems to have pink and purple lighting, so maybe I'm biased! Breakfast was a highlight. Any kind of set breakfast usually has me looking for the exit signs, but this one was definitely high quality. Thanks!
Another brilliant review BC. Total shock to me, the SQ does not have their own branded water! OMG 555 Even the Cozy River where I stay by Chao Praya for 1000 baht has branded water. A long way from Sukhumvit and the night life though. This SQ looks clean and nice, but less to offer and price just as high/higher than the Holiday Inn where you stayed before on Soi 11. So many hotels in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon...difficult to know which is the best value for your baht these days. Thanks BC
Thanks, Ric. I enjoyed the SQ, but for me, there's got to be better value around than the price I paid. It's possible that they don't hike their rates so much during high season and become relatively better value. Buy for May and June I think you're right in saying that sukhumvit soi 11 offers more bangs for your buck! And branded water, too!
I stayed there a few times when it was called SILQ hotel. Decent hotel, fair value & fantastic location. I presume it is "guest friendly" under the new management? Can't go wrong with Soi 19.
Thanks, Steve. Hotels in general seem to have significantly increased prices in recent months, especially places like Bangkok. But agreed, this would be more attractive at below 2k price point. Great location for getting out and about in the evening!

great review BC, good to see you out and about. My choice is still the Shangri la
Thanks, BB! I'm sure I'll get to the Shangri-la at some point! It's on the list!

Good review Balloon Chaser. Very complete. Cheers !
Thanks for your comment! Appreciate it!
Great review how far was the BTS ?
Cheers. Just a short walk to the end of the soi. Easy for skytrain!

Thanks, Phillip. Overall, nice hotel, I agree. And if you want to be near Asoke, it's ideal. Looked like guest friendly, yes.
@balloonchaser "looked like" you need better researchers lol 🤣
Mister B Chaser, are you able to do some review on Radisson Hotels Group in BKK or other Cities Please. Cheers 🥂
I'll do my best to find one !
Nice review. Not cheap (to me) but location seems good

I'd want a girl thrown in for that price balloon chaser lol😅
I could probably sort that for you, mate, but no guarantees about age, size or quality, ok?😄
Frosties are grrrrreat🤣
That is a FACT, Paul !
Not sure why anyone would recommend that hotel. The last one you reviewed is better.
Thanks, PFi. You might well be right there! But I had to go to check once it was recommended!
