A lot of people said that they preferred Hill House but I far preferred Bligh (possibly spelt wrong) Manor. I just found it so much creepier and more tense. I also loved spotting all the ghosts in the background
I am participating in both of those and did five rolls like Becca and got no doubles so it was pretty kind to me! Which is good as I am also doing Series September, Fall Into Reading and had my own TBR game to contend with. I have 21 books on my TBR as I managed to combine prompts wherever I could. Based on my reading habits this year that is totally doable for me. The only book on your TBR I have read is Ace of Spades and it was brilliant! I absolutely loved it.
A Lesson in Vengeance sounds intriguing! I read Follow Me to Ground for F***ed-up Book Club several months ago, and I think you'll enjoy it. Definitely dark and creepy with a bit of a mystery. I'm playing Bookoplathon roll-as-you-go, which means the doubles don't really do anything. I'm also doing Fall Into Reading and Readers Imbibing Peril in addition to Magical Readathon AND I'm madly trying to finish my Sirens Reading Challenge before deadline. So my TBR is plenty crazy.
I feel like I got really lucky with the board and every single one of my 7 rolls/books are also on my Magical Readathon TBR. I totally forgot to put Fool’s Fate on there, so I do have that one on top, but my reading game has been STRONG this year, so I feel confident and I’m so excited!
I decided not to stress myself trying to find books to fit both readathons and moved Bookoplathon to October. I don't really share on social media so no one will know, right?

I am currently reading the Turn of the Screw I think I’ll finish it today and I am watching the Haunting of Bli manor alongside; I am at ep 4 and so far I love the experience of reading and watching simultaneously.
I was grateful I started with 7 rolls with Bookoplathon and ended with 7. I'm also doing Magical Readathon as well and have a total of 13 books and some chunky ones at that. I was able to use all but 2 or 3 books from the Magical Readathon in the prompts for Bookoplathon

I wouldn't be able to follow a readathon because I see you all end up with 5697876785 books to read and this year I'm already reading as many books as there are days in each month (and even more than that!) so I can't add anymore books to my TBR but one day in the future I wanna play everyone's TBR games and see what happens. I'll probably just end up picking the same books as the one playing the game but this idea came as I was working on other things that need my attention so it will be some years before I'm able to do this. I hope I remember when that year comes. Have fun reading all those books in September! King of Scars is the only one on the list I remember wanting to read but have yet to read the first book so I need to start that series eventually.

as someone who's read all of riley sager books, survive the night was THE WORST out of all of them and I hated it so much, it still riles me up when I think about it
I think the board just hates wheels of TBR because I did a wheel of TBR this month as well and did Bookopoly. I started with 5 rolls and immediately got 5 doubles in a row. And one of the books from my wheel didn’t fit any of the bookopoly prompts, leaving me with 11 books to read next month
I mean if anyone can read 12 books in a month I think you totally can! Also my bookopoly was mean to me as well:( I didn't get an overwhelming amount of doubles but it was basically impossible to combine wheel things and bookopoly things. I'll have a video up on my channel soon if you wanna watch!!
I feel like such an outlier because I hated the Atlas Six, it was so confusing and even after rereading each chapter as I went through I still didn't understand fully what was going on. I also disliked every single character and just couldn't get myself to care about them. I really hope you like it more than I did, clearly it's got some merit seeing as most people like it.

You dont have to do the character or the land reading prompts until April 2022 in the Magical readathon.
