Eureka Seven did something different from other media during its time. It showcased a realistic relationship grow between mutually interested people. One where compromise and effort are necessary from both partners to grow mutual respect. Renton and Eureka are just two "normal" kids in an abnormal situation trying to find out what it means to be in love, nothing more. As a 16 year old who was used to seeing toxic over-sexualized romances in TV, movies and anime..it was this series made me realize how broken my views were. It turned me into a more kind and introspective person when it came to my love life and just general human interaction. tldr: E7 saved me from being a potential incel and dickhead.
Anime was a mistake. It used to have deeper plot and meaningful story that actually teach younger generation the lessons in life. Meanwhile nowadays it's over sexualized with fanservice. Part of the problems is that many authors are otaku or so called incel. I see lots of people defending otaku, but given them guns, they won't do any better than in America. It's not hard to figure out, indulging in the same anime and philosophy that otaku created will make you one of them.

After all these episodes... Finally! This show is brilliant at building up a relationship between characters at a realistic pace. It just hits so much better when you finally see them together like this, especially since Eureka is finally showing emotions we never knew she could let out before. Everything about this show is so wonderful. The only time I've ever felt something similar was when watching "Aria the Animation", but it was never to the extent of what I felt when watching this show. As I'm still watching the last few episodes of the original Eureka Seven and move on to the next entry in the series, the one word I have been able to describe this show with is "Love" --and I think that so far that's pretty accurate! This is definitely going to be my favorite series for the next 10 years at least, I'm afraid.

That probably would have been possible, but what keep them was the fact that Charles and Ray had their vendetta and their rivalry with Holland and Talho only made things firece. It wasn't possible that their beliefs and revenge was too big to break through.
This is my favourite anime, and holy god is she a cutie. Even with her post scub-integration form she has here. Seeing her go from emotionless, to starting to feel emotion, to becoming very emotional as time went on was such a great character growth.
I don’t think it takes too long to be good. E7 takes its time to build up each character and their relationships to reach a satisfying conclusion. If the build up was’t there the ‘good’ parts later on wouldn’t feel rewarding or deserved. Rewatched it for the third time recently and can pin point 1 weak episode (Football one) and even then it was there to give the characters some chill time between all the drama and civilisation being destroyed.

This Became My Favorite Part in the Series cause Damn the Passion these two give, 15 years and still givin me Tears
