It’s his fault, I can assure you that. They always charge what the base fee is and it’s usually always cheap. He probably adjusted the fee and ended up in that situation.
Because it was always cheap i admit i didnt pay close enough attention. Im not suggesting it was theft. What im asking is whether or not there is a way to get it back. If so... Ill split it with whoever can. 1700+ $stx is alota money, to me at least.
The so called Bitcoin Layer 2s are not really Layer 2 solutions, they are side chains, please stop calling them Layer 2 solutions, it is very decieving
There are more loose and strict definitions of L2. Something like stacks from a optimistic rollup side of things would not be considered an L2, yet it could be considered as more decentralized than Eth L2 solutions as there is no need for a centralized sequencer. All eth L2s Are companies that can freeze the chain, controlled by a multisig.
I hear about the "ecosystem" but i can't seem to find it.

I was charged over 1700 stx as a gas fee for a simple claim. Do I have any recourse to receive at least a partial refund? Its $1000's. Thanks
