- Protesters clashed with police in Germany outside a far-right party conference.
Thousands took the streets as the Alternative for Germany party held its conference in Essen.
The protesters reportedly tried to prevent delegates to arrive at the conference.
Some Alternative for Germany members had to be escorted by police.

It always amazes me that protesting against the existence of other parties is done under the banner of democracy, oh the irony.
Large parts of the AfD are proven to be undemocratic or just plain fascist. This is the reason they are under observation by the Verfassungsschutz, an official institution for defence of our constitution.
Remember, the NSDAP was a democratically elected party.
